Taeyong sighed.
"Well, that's Johnny," Jaehyun said while he was laying down his bed, using his phone.
"I don't get it. I know their first meeting is trash but Ten didn't deserve that, did he?"
The man looked back at him, "Even the baddest people, they don't deserve anything like that."
"Then why? He shouldn't have done that," Taeyong asked.
He was concern about Ten. After what happened, he didn't attend classes and just went home. Taeyong tried calling him several times but Ten has his phone off. He would want to come and visit him at home but he knew Ten doesn't want to talk to anyone right now.
"Look, Johnny just has so much hatred to hybrids. He had traumas because of them," the man explained.
Taeyong sighed, "It's still not a good reason."
Jaehyun pushed himself up and sat on his bed. Taeyong had to suffer watching him for it. The man combed his hair back, making his arm visibly flex because he's in sleeveless right now. Should Taeyong be feeling something in just a span of a week being with this man? They do mostly spend time with each other. Taeyong goes to his dorm when his break is too long, so does Jaehyun.
Obviously, Jaehyun could have a partner. It's impossible if he doesn't.
"Instead of making their issue our issue, how about you help me do my project? You aren't busy, are you?" the man asked and stood from his bed to go to his working table.
Taeyong wanted to clean his table. It is messy for him. His tools and other materials are littered on top of it, and it bothers the hybrid. Though it does bother him, he didn't want to clean it without Jaehyun knowing it. Also, it's a headache when someone touched your stuff.
"What project, exactly?" Taeyong asked, sitting on the edge of his bed.
The man nodded, "Good question. It's still in draft but I'm working on it. I'm planning to do something for you."
The hybrid furrowed his eyebrows, "For me?"
"Yeah. Studying nursing must be really hard and I'm willing to do a program for nursing students like you. I'm doing review kind of program. What do you think?"
It made Taeyong smile.
"That's really cool...I can be your tester," the hybrid uttered.
The man chuckled, "Of course, of course. You need to help me. I'll treat you desserts if I got a high marking for it."
"I'll do it without anything in return, Jae."
Jaehyun hummed. His hand went to grab his prescription glasses and turned his laptop on. Taeyong looked at the clock and they should get ready to sleep.
"You're going to work on it overnight?" the hybrid asked.
"I'll take my time until midnight. Don't worry, I won't turn my lamp on for you."
Their study tables were just in between both of their beds that's why it'll might bother one of them if they opened their lamps at night.
"No, actually...I want to spend my time helping you," Taeyong said, impulsively deciding it.
Jaehyun raised an eyebrow at him with a smirk, "Really? I would've thought you're the kind of person who sleeps early as much as possible."
The hybrid rolled his eyes. He stood and brought his chair to place it beside Jaehyun before he sat.
"Alright."
Jaehyun did say he'll stop flirting but Taeyong is an exception.
Ten looked horrible when he attended school the next day. He did the sketch again all day and night. He didn't even spare an hour for his sleep. After he drew and sketched an easier image, he took his bath and wore a new outfit before he goes out to walk towards the university.
Ten bothered to get some coffee to keep himself awake but looked dead. He just remembered that he'll meet that asshole again because of his schedule. Hopefully, he won't come up and punch him again.
He didn't bother meet up with Taeyong today and just made his way to the classroom. The hybrid arrived and felt immediate anger when he saw Johnny already seated on his usual seat. Ten didn't bother to look or greet him and just sat on chair, slamming his bag on the table.
Yangyang, who was already seated, jolted at the sudden intrusion but he felt horrified seeing Ten.
"O-Oh, Ten...hey, you good?" the boy asked.
"Yeah, I feel great," the hybrid answered, though it wasn't obvious in his tone. He sounded sarcastic.
Yangyang hummed, trying to get some courage to say something, "Actually...I asked the professor if he could give you day to re-sketch it...because of what happened."
"Thanks, I'll submit it later," the hybrid said.
Yangyang nodded and their attentions went to their professor came in. They fell quiet and greeted him. Ten grabbed his notebook to take notes about their first lesson but he was called to catch his attention.
"Mr. Leechaiyapornkul and Mr. Suh, I need to talk to both of you after class."
Ten furrowed his eyebrows, "Suh?"
He knew he heard that name somewhere...
"Johnny," Yangyang whispered.
The hybrid groaned, "Great..."
After class, Ten stayed behind and lets Yangyang go ahead. He'll just meet him next class. He didn't bother looking back at Johnny and just grabbed his bag before he walked towards his professor.
Johnny, on the other hand, has felt bothered since he saw Ten. He shouldn't really feel guilty because of what happened yesterday. He never felt guilty. However, how Ten reacted kept him awake and it frustrates him badly. He sighed and stood from his seat.
Both of them stood infront of the professor's table. Ten stood far from Johnny, having a big gap between them. The professor looked at them and gave them a small chuckle.
"Clearly, both of you don't like each other..."
"What are going to talk about, sir?" Ten asked. He didn't want to stay too long beside the asshole.
The professor smiled, "Mr. Suh, here, is a repeater of my subject."
"So...? What does that make me involve with him?" the hybrid asked.
"Be his tutor."
