If anyone was wondering what happened after that late night talk, it wasn't the last. The next night and the other were their time to talk to each other. Even though Ten would wake up in the middle of the night, it was fine for him if it's Johnny. Their days together were getting better and never realized how their hearts started beating for each other.

Ten didn't see Johnny today, other than being in the same classroom for the long quiz. After that, the man had other things to do. Well, they did speak for a bit since Ten told him about giving him a week off before he tutors him again. Then after that, the whole day was quiet.

The hybrid came home and spent his whole day finishing up his other requirements. There was nothing else and he didn't want to feel anxious all day. Their scores hasn't been announced by their professor so they needed to wait until tomorrow. He badly wanted to get a high score so he wouldn't fail.

To keep his mind out of it, he'll make himself busy.

Just as he thought it wasn't midnight, it already was. He reached for his phone and tried looking if there were notifications...specifically from Johnny. There was none, as much as Ten wanted. Maybe the man was really busy today.

Suddenly, his phone rang which made Ten to jolt and drop his phone. He cursed and grabbed it, accepting the call immediately.

"H-Hello?"

"You were waiting for my call, weren't you?"

The hybrid blushed, "No!"

"You were."

"I wasn't! Wait, aren't you busy?"

"Why did you think of that?"

Ten hummed, "I don't know. You didn't show up a while ago."

"Ah, you already missed me?"

"Seriously, Johnny."

The man chuckled, "I was. I needed to take care of my portfolio."

"Did you finish it?"

"Yeah, I just finished just now."

"Yeah? So...you're free?"

"You can say that. I'm at the convenience store."

Ten stood from his chair and walked towards his cabinet.

"Wait for me."

"Okay--Wait, what?!"

"I said, wait for me. I'll hate you if you don't, hotshot."

"Hey, do your parents know this?"

"Why should they? I've been doing this all the time!"

Ten walked towards his door and locked it, then went to his window. He opened it and threw his jacket to the ground with other clothing. When it turns into a cat, he won't be able to bring his clothing with him. Also, he gets to escape quietly if he turns into a hybrid.

"We can hang out some--"

"I'll see you there, Johnny."
