The next morning, Ten bring hats and beanies from now on. He decided to be the good guy, but blunt mean, and be considerate for once. Johnny could maybe hate him less if his ears aren't out and makes it easier for him to forget that he's a hybrid.
It sounds crazy, but maybe it could work.
The hybrid goes down the stairs with his bag and done dressing up for the day. He met up with his family already preparing to go. They were at the door, his mother bidding them goodbye. Ten went up to catch up.
"I'm going too," Ten said.
His mother smiled at him, "Did you bring everything?"
"Hopefully!"
"I'll see you later then--"
"Uhm, for the next days, mom, I'll be late since I have to tutor somebody," the hybrid uttered.
His mother furrowed her eyebrows, "Tutor?"
"Yeah, just this semester, don't worry," Ten answered with a teethy smile.
"Alright, but don't be too late."
The hybrid leaned and gave her a peck on the cheek, "I won't."
Ten waved at his father and didn't mind his sister. He jogged his way and crossed the streets, walking towards the university with some other students that has the same route as his. He brings out his hat and wore it before he stepped into the school grounds.
He wanted to tell Johnny about where and when they will be meeting up. He knew where they'll be at in this time around so he heads to the field and did find them there. Surprisingly, he found Taeyong with them.
"Hey, guys! How are we doing?" Ten greeted cheerfully when he got there, "And why are you here, Lee Tyong?"
Taeyong awkwardly looked back at him and secretly removed the arm that was wrapped around his waist, "I didn't have anyone. Yangyang's busy and you were away."
Yuta waved at him, catching the hybrid's attention, "Hey, Ten. Why don't you sit with us too?"
"Nah, I'm fine. I'm just here for my student," the hybrid said and looked at Johnny who looked back at him when his attention was caught, "Meet me up here at 1. Don't be late."
"Don't boss me around," Johnny said.
Ten pouted, "Am not. Just don't be late, please?"
Taeyong's eyes widened and was taken aback by Ten saying the word 'please.' For him, it wasn't 'very Ten' of him. His friend never really says any 'kind' words ever, and hearing him say it made him worried, sarcastically speaking. The hybrid didn't really bother about his friend's reaction.
He, instead, was amused by Johnny's softening expression but the man rolled his eyes and looked away from him before answering.
"Okay."
Yuta and the others were taken aback from Johnny's simple, calm response. Their eyebrows furrowed but they were quite amazed with the hybrid's effect on the man.
"Alright. See you guys later! I need to go. Taeyong, we'll have to talk."
The hybrid that was called went confused, "What? What for?"
"We'll talk about it later," Ten repeated before he waved and walked away from their table.
They watched the hybrid go, except Johnny. Taeyong sighed and got nervous after Ten wanting to talk to him. He stared getting anxious but felt a hand rubbing against his back, soothing him a bit but it didn't do much help. He's an anxious guy and Ten's scary when he doesn't like something.
