Waking up to my alarm, I showered and dressed in my uniform. I walked down stairs to find my mum still here.

'Not going in early?' I questioned and she smiled at me.

'Not today, I'll take you to school soon, have some breakfast.' I took an apple and waited for her to finish whatever it was she was doing. We didn't talk much anymore, not after dad and her marriage to Dick. So the car ride was silent. 'Here's some lunch money, try and have a good day, make some more friends!' I grunted at her and got out of the car, heading straight for the principals office. I walked in to find him necking on with the receptionist girl. He ripped away from her and looked at me panicked. I rolled my eyes and turned back.

'John!' I slammed the door and walked away. I went to my locker and was sorting my books out when a blonde head bobbed on the other side of my locker door. I closed the door and looked at it expecting Eric, but it wasn't him. Some random girl was standing there and I frowned at her.

'Can I help you?' I asked and she bit her lip.

'Ah, I was just wondering, like we all know you're the new guy, but no one really knows anything about you, so, I mean, my girls and I were wondering if you're seeing anyone?' I wanted to say yes but I'd already told Eric it was cool not to say we were together, but am I still supposed to say I'm seeing someone?

'Ah, no, not really.' This seemed to excite her and she thanked me before trotting off to her group of girls.

'John.' I turned to see Stark looking at me.

'What?'

'Let's go.' He said before escorting me back to his office, the receptionist looking extremely embarrassed. 'I'm sorry you walked in on that.' He said as he closed his office door as the bell rang signaling the homeroom beginning.

'What ever.'

'I hope you won't go telling anyone.'

'It's none of my business what you stick your dick in mate.' He frowned at me and I rolled my eyes. 'No, I won't tell anyone.'

'Thank you. Here, this is what I want you to do today.' He said handing me some papers and I sighed out and started marking them. 'Did you make friends with Eric Rynstone?' He asked not looking up from the papers he was marking.

'Yeah, you could say that.' More like he wants to stick his dick in me and I'm down rather than friends.

'Be careful.' He said and I frowned looking up.

'What do you mean by that?'

'I'm just saying watch out, sometimes he and his football buddies get up to some not so nice things.' I frowned and continued to mark the work. What's that supposed to mean? I don't really get that vibe, I get the I'm a good boy throw me the ball retriever vibe...

When the bell rang I left for math, I hadn't seen Eric at all yet, had he been playing a joke on me? I didn't register anything in math and in home ec I burnt my hand on the frying pan by accident. The teacher scolded me for not being careful while she bandaged my hand. I walked into science and sat at the table same as yesterday.

'Hey- what happened to your hand?' I looked up to see Eric taking the seat next to me at my lab bench.

'I burnt it in home ec.' I said quietly, keeping my distance from him.

'Hey, what's wrong?' He asked shifting a little closer.

'N-nothing.' Before he could say anything else Stark started the class. I gathered my things and went to head to the cafeteria when Eric high jacked me and dragged me into a stairwell I didn't even know was here.
