"I'm back again..." Min Yun Gu whispered to himself as he stood in the middle of his overly large house. He stared at everything in it, the awards he collected, the photos he had taken, the immense amount of objects he owned. He stared at everything, and felt nothing. She wasn't there... and that meant that all this was worthless.
He checked the date on his phone: Monday 20 April Year 2020
"So we are starting here again... why is this date so important?" he sighed as he walked to his closet. He changed out of his blood stained clothes and through them in his hamper. He had failed to save her again... He walked into the shower and washed the reminisce of the last world off of himself. As he washed his hair, he saw the purple marks on his wrist.
There were only three lines left.
That meant he only had three chances left to make things right... before he would lose her forever. He sighed and closed his eyes and let the steaming hot water pour over his face.
I have no idea what to expect from this world. Who will Marvel be this time? Who will I be... how can I make this world work for us? He thought to himself as the water started to get a little too hot. He shut the shower off and walked to his sink. He was brushing his teeth and staring at himself in the mirror. Irritated with himself, he rinsed his mouth out and rubbed his face with some water and instantly stopped when he saw his big ring on his finger glisten in the light. He took it off and set in down and then glared at himself.
"This time... this time I will make this world work... I will save her, and we will all be happy... I don't want us to go back to the world we came from. So this time, you will make this work." he thought to himself.
Looking at three marks on his wrist again, he decided that if the next attempt failed, he would use his last two attempts to just return them all to their original world... so he really had to make this try count, because he knew he would be miserable in the world he came from.
Yun Gu quickly got dressed and realized he was running late. He wasn't sure what he was running late to, but his internal clock told him it was time to go. He threw on his clothes as quickly as he could and walked out of his apartment.
He walked briskly, eager to see her... eager to hold her... eager, to make things right and keep them from their old world where they both suffered.
