Ho Seong wanted to touch her everywhere. Her lips tasted of lemon ginger tea, and she smelt of lavender. She tasted and smelt so sweet, he felt himself becoming overwhelmed by how much he needed Marvel. Her arms shaking, she moved them from her side, gently holding Ho Seong's face where his jaw met his neck. This gave Ho Seong a tremor through his body, the electricity they felt earlier at lunch running through their bodies again. Ho Seong moved his hands from Marvel's face to hook them under her arms to hold her shoulder blades, bringing her closer to him.

Marvel was consumed by this kiss, she never wanted it to end, but then the reality of their situation hit. Marvel felt tears welling up in her eyes as her office phone started to ring. Ho Seong's grip on her shoulders tightened, secretly telling her to ignore the call. He reluctantly pulled away from the kiss and the two looked into each other's eyes. They both had heavy breaths, and Ho Seong kept holding her shoulders so she could not escape. But he knew he needed to let her go. They were at work in her office, and if he did not stop soon, she may push him away.

"Shall we go on a date tonight?" He asked in a deep whisper.

She could barely speak, but she managed to whisper, "Yes."

"I'll pick you up at 5?"

"Yes"

"We can go back to my apartment?"

"Yes"

"Will you stop avoiding me from now on?"

"Yes"

Ho Seong chuckled. He kissed her gently again and smiled.

"I wish the power had gone out sooner," he whispered into her lips, making her tremble again. Marvel could no longer speak. Ho Seong managed to break down her walls in a matter of seconds, and she was scared of how happy she was that he was able to do so. Ho Seong helped her stand, and he kissed her forehead. He tucked her hair behind her left ear, getting a glance at the scar that lived on her neck.

"Can I have your number?" He asked quietly. Marvel nodded her head and reached for his phone. She trembled as she carefully typed each of her numbers into the cellphone. She handed him her phone and he typed his number in. She watched his thumbs move quickly as he typed, and wished his fingers were still holding her face as they kissed.

Once he finished giving Marvel his phone number, he handed the phone back to her and Ho Seong kissed her goodbye and left the office. She looked down at the number and saw the name 💜🦄 Boyfriend 🦄💜 attached to it. She felt her face turn red as she looked back at the door, wanting to scold Ho Seong for flustering her so much, but he was already gone. What's happening to me? She asked herself.

She tried collecting herself, but she could only stare at her phone, anxious thoughts spiraling in her head. Had I really agreed to this? How could I do this? I worked so hard to build up these walls... but in just a few seconds...

In a few seconds she was defeated.

Without realizing what she was doing, Marvel sent an email to Miss Cha saying she was not feeling well and going home early for the day. Marvel felt herself having an anxiety attack for the first time in a year and she did not want to be at work for it again. She quickly grabbed her things and left the office. She hit the elevator button repeatedly until the doors opened, and she repeated this process the entire time she was on the elevator.
