"Yun Gu... how many times do I have to tell you... if you want to be with Marvel, then you need to take her back to our world. In this world, and all the other worlds... you choose your happiness over hers. And that is fine Yun Gu, your happiness matters. But your happiness leads to sacrificing Marvel's... and then you always want to fix it, which inevitably leads her to suffering and dying in some tragic way." Son Hye Kyo explained in a calm voice.

Yun Gu hated what she just said. He hated it because he knew it was true. He balled his hands into a fist and stared down at the ocean, feeling angrier than ever.

"I gave you an out in this world. That power outage in April. I created that so you could transfer your responsibility to Ho Seong," Son Hye Kyo snapped.

"What do you mean?" he turned to look at the woman who had been tormenting him for too long.

"The electricity the three of you felt after Marvel was attacked by the security guard... that was not the three of you falling in love with each other. That was you transferring the responsibility of saving Marvel to Ho Seong... I had everything planned perfectly... but why... Why do you always interpret things in your favor? Why is it that you can't just let her go?" Son Hye Kyo snapped at him with frustration.

Yun Gu thought about it. He thought about why he loved Marvel so much.

She was always there for him. The moment she entered his life, she was always there. She listened to his problems, supported his dreams, defended him when the odds were against him, and she saved his life.

She had saved his life.

Was it love that made him want her so badly... or was it guilt for the permanent scar on her back she received because of him.

No... that was not it, he loved her. Even if she had never saved him, he loved her.

"You may find this hard to believe... but I love her... and you are right... I have been selfish, trying to make my dreams come true in all these worlds... thinking that she would follow me, like she did in the past... but she is her own person... and I... I should have been better." Yun Gu finished, resting his head on his hands.

He looked down through the bridge and saw a couple sitting in the sand, the man spooning the woman. Yun Gu closed his eyes and thought of when he was able to do that with Marvel. He looked back up to Son Hye Kyo.

"If I cast the spell to take us back to our world, it is guaranteed that we will end up together?" he asked her.

"Yes... there is always a small percentage that outcome could change... but for all the paths and worlds I can see... the only world where you two end up together... is our world," she said in return.

"If I decided to let her go and be with Ho Seong... is there a spell where I could restart this timeline?" he hesitantly asked, secretly hoping the answer was no.

"Yes... there is a spell. Are you actually considering letting her go?" Son Hye Kyo asked in disbelief.

"I don't know... I have to think about it... the tour... if I did anything, it would be after the tour," he said, staring out to the ocean.

"You don't have that much time Yun Gu," she said.

"What do you mean? I have until the twenty-first of September," he shouted.

"No... the timeline changed when I transferred the responsibility... Her new death day is the thirtieth ," Son Hye Kyo reluctantly admitted.

"You mean next month right? Not the thirtieth of this week?" Yun Gu asked.
