Chapter 05: The Three of Us

Ho Seong was sitting alone in his studio staring at a photo of him and Yun Gu. He had known his hyung for ten years now... and Yun Gu had never made him feel this way before. Ho Seong closed his eyes and thought of the way Marvel made him feel. His feelings for her matched the feelings he was suddenly aware of for Yun Gu, and this frightened him. Three days ago, he and Yun Gu were just friends... but now... Ho Seong could still feel the presence of Yun Gu on his left palm.

They were getting ready to go on tour... and he knew he needed to talk to Yun Gu about these sensations the three of them were feeling... but he needed to talk to him before he brought Marvel into this. While he really cared about her, Yun Gu had to come first in this instance. Ten years of friendship meant more to Ho Seong than two days of bliss. As it should be.

Ho Seong dragged himself off the couch he was sitting on, and forced himself to leave his studio. He walked down the hall and stood in front of Yun Gu's studio door. He sighed and leaned his forehead against the door.

"Yun Gu... can I come in?" he whispered. He waited for what felt like hours before Yun Gu responded.

"Yeah."

Ho Seong took a deep breath and opened the door to Yun Gu's office. Yun Gu was laying down on his couch with his back turned to the door. Ho Seong closed the door to the office door. He sat down across from Yun Gu, and the room was silent.

"Yun Gu... we have to talk about this... I know you felt it too..."

"So?" Yun Gu said into the couch.

"Can you look at me while I'm talking to you? I don't care how uncomfortable this is... we have to talk about this," Ho Seong said in a serious tone. Yun Gu rolled over and sat up to look at Ho Seong. The two looked at each other. The air in the room had become unbreathable, but they both knew that they had to push through and talk about the spark that had ignited between the three of them.

"When did you start having feelings for Mar?" Ho Seong reluctantly asked.

"I've always loved her... I've known her since high school... and it's always been her," Yun Gu said honestly.

"Mar... she is the girl you could never forget about?" Ho Seong asked in shock.

"Yes..." Yun Gu said in a curt tone. This frustrated Ho Seong.

"How could you not tell me this?" Ho Seong asked, hurt.

"I... because... she likes to keep things professional... so I kept things professional... I was okay ignoring my feelings for her so I didn't make her uncomfortable at work," Yun Gu said, thinking on his feet. He technically had only been in this world for three days now.

"And what are you feeling for me?" Ho Seong asked, holding in tears of frustration.

"I don't know what you want me to say," Yun Gu said, his frustration building as well. He hid his face in his hands. He was trying not to cry from the frustration. Ho Seong knelt down and took both oh Yun Gu's hands in his. The two men looked at each other. Ho Seong took a leap, and he leaned up and kissed Yun Gu. He pulled back quickly and the shock that sparked between their lips, but Yun Gu leaned in and kissed him back. They both pulled away from each other when they heard the door open to Yun Gu's studio. Ho Seong had not closed the door when he came in, allowing anyone to open it.

Yun Gu and Ho Seong froze as they stared at Park Ji Woon standing in the doorway.

"I thought your girlfriend was Marvel?" Ji Woon said with disappointment at his roommate.
