For those of you who read the original chapter, I just wanted to share that this has some new and updated information, for first time readers, welcome to my "If Only" Universe!
I have named my universe, "If Only" because I feel like us fan-fiction writers write these stories as a way for us to dream about becoming a part of the lives of our idols... so I think it's a fitting title [laughs to self while writing this then cries because if only I could meet my biases then maybe I wouldn't need to write about it lol].
I also want to share that my "If Only" Universe will be a long series of stories that will tie together. This is the first story in the series which was originally called "Mask On" but after reworking the story I have renamed it "Make It Right". While I liked what I had written, I got stuck in the writing process right away and decided to a break and revamp the entire story, and my entire "If Only" Universe. I honestly was going to give up on this story, but thanks to some people I will tag at the end, I decided to rework this story. I just wanted to say thank you to both of you! I appreciate your support so very much! Before I go any further, I feel the need to do an introduction to the "If Only" Universe to help explain my writing style.
I do consider "Make it Right" to be fan-fiction that involves KPOP Idol groups such as BTS, ATEEZ, KARD, ONEUS, DREAMCATCHER, and TXT [more groups will be added later]. However, I DO NOT feel comfortable using the actual bands names or the actual names of the members, so for the world I have created I gave the bands and characters I use different names.
I like to think of it as I am basing the characters off of the real people, but using different names breaks away from the invasiveness. And this is no way in judgement of other fanfic writers. I read plenty of fan-fiction, and enjoy it, but for me as a writer, I prefer to change names, because it makes writing easier for me. So below is a cheat sheet for y'all to help understand the characters of the "If Only" universe I have created.

Okay so some quick explanations because I think I am funny. J.Seph of KARD has the same name as V of BTS so I gave them the same name in this story as well. BM of KARD has two Korean names which are Kim Jin Seok and Kim Woo Jin. At first I was like, "Should I combine the names Kim Woo Seok?" but then me being me I was like, "Na we need to have the name 'Kim Seok Jin'". So that is how I came up with the names for Royal Flush.
Anyways, these are the first few groups that are mentioned in the first few chapters of the story. As I bring in other groups I will repost the cheat sheet as a refresher. You are more than welcome to read the character names as the people they are based off of, you will see that I tried to make their names as similar as possible, yet different.
I also want to warn readers that there are strong themes and mentioning of mental health problems, eating disorders, and trauma. I will warn people at the beginning of each chapter if these themes are mentioned. I am a person who needs trigger warnings so I can mentally prepare for stories that contain these themes, so I will always make sure my readers are warned.
