Preparing for Jellicle Ball

Victoria looked at Mistoffelees, holding on to him while smiling. Electra was holding Starlight close, smiling at the couple. Pouncival nuzzled Electra, hesitantly.
Carbucketty looked at Aelina, the ginger maine coon kitten. This was Aelina's second ball. Bombalurina looked at Tugger, "Our daughter's coming to age now, shes going to get maturer just like what Victoria did." She smiled. Rum Tum Tugger nuzzled her, "Yes, im so proud of her." He smiled and blushed.

Carbucketty and Aelina were practicing dancing with eachother. Carbucketty lifted Aelina up to the air, while Aelina spreaded her legs out wide before being put down. Aelina smiled at him, pressing her muzzle close to Carbucketty's cheek.

The next day:

"Right, its tonight." Munkustrap looked at Demeter, smiling. Demeter purred, "We wonder who-"

"Macavity!" Aelina, this time...squealed out in fear. Instead, 3 cats jumped into the junkyard. "I recognise them! Olivia, Noilly Prat, and Quaxo. Where are the others?" Bombalurina walked over to the three cats. Starlight crawled over to them, then falling over. Olivia jumped up, "Whose kit is this?" She gasped, picking her up. "Misto and Vicky's." Bombalurina sighed.
"We missed so much." Quaxo gasped, "Thats my niece then." He pressed his face against the small kitten. "Go see Misto then." Bombalurina shrugged. Aelina hid behind Bombalurina, looking at both Olivia and Noilly Prat. "Hello cutie..you were a small kitten the last time i saw you. Now you are an big kitten!" Noilly Prat smiled at Aelina. "I want to have kittens." Aelina mewed, "Can i?" She looked up at her mother. "Dont talk about that now. You're too young still." Bombalurina sighed, "Daddy's girl she is." She whispered to Olivia while Aelina pounced swiftly away to her father.

"If mama wont say yes, dada will!" Aelina thought.

"Can i have kittens aft-" Aelina asked and cut off as Tugger shook his head. "Only when you're grown up. Kittens like you cant get pregnant, alright?" Tugger kissed his daughter's forehead gently before going to Alonzo and Mistoffelees.

Aelina frowned and sat on her haunches. "Father is right..." she whispered to herself.
