Jemima turned to look at Etcetera, she looked paler than usual. "Just before the jellicle ball...come dear..." Jellylorum gently held Cettie's paw, leading her to the healers den.

Loud noises interrupted the junkyard. The cats ran to their hiding places.

Meanwhile, in the healers den...
Jellylorum massaged her daughter's belly fur, an alarmed look flashed across her face. "What is it? I want to dance in the jellicle Ball!" Etcetera panicked. "You are pregnant, dear. Not even far in. You may still do it. While Electra is a few weeks in, she cannot. Did you and George...?" Jellylorum asked anxiously. "We did! Just before! Electra and Pouncival did, so we did it ourselves." Etcetera frowned.
"You four, are crazy. You are still young!" Jellylorum scolded.

Etcetera hissed, "Im so over this! Im doing the jellicle ball, mother!"
What Etcetera didnt notice, was that she was crying. Jellylorum hugged her and stroked her back, "Its going to be okay, honey, perhaps its just mood swings. Im sorry for being unfair to you...im truly sorry...you were like me when I was younger..." she whispered comforting words into her ear.
Etcetera wiped her tears, sighing out through her nose slowly, "How so?"
"Nevermind...i dont want to talk about it." Jellylorum frowned, "Now clean yourself up before Alonzo, Victoria, Jemima, Pouncival and Munkustrap finish up their parts!" She quickly kissed her daughter's forehead. Etcetera smiled excitedly, like the original Cettie she ever was. Etcetera ran to her place to the pipe, giggling excitedly.
