The Mating Ritual

The lights flashed dark. The cats went down on their feet. They moved their arms and then the cats spread apart. Cassandra did a cartwheel.

Alonzo went to Bombalurina and smiled at her. Alonzo then touched Tumblebrutus's paw before pointing paws at Mistoffelees and Pouncival.

Alonzo and Cassandra did a little dance before Bombalurina took the spotlight. The lights gone red. Aelina, Olivia, Etcetera, Demeter and Jemima followed.

The Toms were heading toward them, which consisted of Rum Tum Tugger, Carbucketty, Mungojerrie, George, Munkustrap and Tumblebrutus.

Rum Tum Tugger danced behind his mate, Bombalurina. Carbucketty danced behind Sillabub. Mungojerrie danced behind Olivia. George danced with Etcetera. Munkustrap danced with Demeter. Tumblebrutus danced with Jemima.

The Toms each lifted their partners up, heading toward the junkpile.

Pouncival frowned and sat on the metal. He missed dancing with Electra. It has been a while since he done that dance with her. Now that shes heavily pregnant with his kittens or kitten, they cant do it due to the weight. It could injure Pouncival or even Electra if they did it. Cassandra placed an comforting paw on Pouncival's back, rubbing it gently.
Pouncival couldnt afford to cry at the jellicle ball, so he held the whimper in. Pouncival watched his friends Tumblebrutus and Mistoffelees dance around the clearing.

Old Deuteronomy slowly went into the clearing. The jellicles spun around the jellicle leader. The group broke up. Munkustrap helped his father to the tire. The Jellicle leader sat down.

Olivia looked at Mungojerrie, blushing slightly. Mungojerrie then pressed his head toward her waist. Olivia flinched backwards and looked at him with a startled look.

Victoria watched, remembering how her ex Plato and her did this. She felt more protective of Starlight everyday. Starlight was near them, along with pregnant Electra. Victoria held her daughter close and looked away from the pas de deux ritual(Olivia and Mungojerrie). Mistoffelees was pressing his head on Victoria's shoulder.

Mungojerrie and Olivia both nuzzled cheeks. Olivia turned her back toward him, smiling brightly. Mungojerrie lifted her up gently into the air. Olivia had one leg up while the other down.
The Jellicle couples cuddled closer to eachother into a pile as Olivia was lifted down onto Skimbleshanks's abdomen. Skimbleshanks moved away slightly. Olivia and Mungojerrie curled around eachother. As well as the other cats. They held their arms up before continuing into a quiet pile of jellicle kitties.

(Idk why 'A quiet pile of jellicle kitties' made me laugh.)
