Book 1:Chapter 4:The Sacking of Jorna Octagon

Five Legion fleets came out of lightspeed over the Jorna Octagon, and attacked the 30 Alliance ships there. The Alliance star fighters had not been launched, and thus their capital ships were vulnerable. The first few were destroyed within minutes, though a few of the Legion ships were lost as well. The laser cannons on the Alliance cruisers and their frigates and corvettes picked the Legion star fighters off one by one, but most were destroyed before they had launched a single star fighter. A Legion Knight shuttle entered the flagship's hangar, and five Legion Knights exited, along with a few squads of Legion soldiers. The Alliance troops shot down a few, but the Knights blocked and evaded their shots, and killed them with their weapons and magic. They encountered one Altiris Knight. The Knight took down a few of the Legion soldiers with a water wave and two of the Legion Knights, before she too, was killed. They proceeded through to the bridge, sweeping the Alliance defenders aside, though most of their soldiers were killed by the time they reached their target. The last two Altiris Knights took out the remaining soldiers, stunning three of them and killing the rest. The Legion Knights attacked them, and they battled in a glorious display of lightning, earth and fire, before both of the Alliance Knights were slain, though at the cost of another Legion Knight. Lokia and Mirias killed the surviving personnel of the flagship, and along with the three surviving Legion soldiers, made their way of the ship and returned to the Legion ships. A few squadrons of Alliance star fighters managed to launch from the remainder of the Alliance fleet and caused some damage to the Legion forces, before the Alliance defenses crumpled. The Jorna Octagon had been taken swiftly, and now all they had to do was to destroy the Alliance bases on Kyrama, Lok Etreon, Ykamas and Alveor. They landed on the Jorna Octagon, taking the battle station and pointed the massive guns on the Alliance worlds. "Charge the cannons" ordered Admiral Hael Bantaas.
