"Hello you"
Eddie's voice was deep and raspy - indicating he had been awake for some time but needed a drink sometime soon yet he couldn't help but crack a smile as he saw Buck's face light up.

"I... I thought I lost you" Buck choked out, trying to smile but the tears kept running down his face.

"Hey, come here" Eddie smiled, trying to push himself over in the bed, making enough room for Buck to lie down with him. "Don't tell the doctors we're doing this" Eddie chuckled, as he placed one arm around Buck, feeling the warmth almost immediately.

"I'm sorry okay, I didn't mean for all this to happen - this wouldn't have happened if I wasn't selfish." Buck cried as Eddie held him closer trying to soothe his boyfriend.

"Hey, everything is alright, I'm around for the long ride," Eddie whispered to Buck, listening to Buck hyperventilating from crying so much. "Calm down babe."

"Do you still love me?" Buck questioned, looking up to meet Eddie's worried eyes.

"Yes, why would you think I don't love you anymore." Eddie raised an eyebrow.

"I don't know - because I caused this" Buck mumbled.

"Buck! How many times do I have to tell you, this wasn't your fault!" Eddie snapped, Buck looked to his right seeing Eddie's steady heart rate pick up as he snapped.

"I'm sorry"

"Buck stop saying you're sorry! Okay? I love you and I'm happy that I get to love you, It's the best thing that I'll ever do, It's a promise I'm making to you, Whatever may come - your heart I will choose, Forever I'm yours, forever I do" Eddie smiled as tears formed in both Buck's and Eddie's eyes as they looked directly at each over.

Eddie lifted his hands, grabbing Buck - making him sit on his stomach.

Eddie could feel the tension so he pulled Buck down more, "Kiss me," Eddie whispered as Buck pressed his forehead against Eddie's, giving them full eye contact.

Buck quickly pushed himself all the way down, giving Eddie a small kiss - he went to pull away but Eddie wrapped his hands around him, pulling him back down into a more passionate kiss.

They got lost in the moment, they only realized how long they had been kissing for when someone coughed, trying to get their attention - Buck shot up, moving off the bed as he turned to be met with the doctor.

"Mr. Diaz we rather you did not kiss our patient, you're making his heart rate go out the roof, how are you anyways Eddie?" Maggie (the doctor) turned to look at Buck who was blushing, his face dropped when he realized he had been called Mr. Diaz.

"Oh... I'm not..." Buck stuttered, trying to get his words out.

"I'm feeling great - when can I get out of here," Eddie smirked looking over at Buck who was still trying to process being called Mr. Diaz. Eddie did want Buck to be a Diaz but he knew it was too soon, although... Buck would say yes if he asked now.

"Well... We want to keep you in just overnight because we need to make sure your hearts beating properly and is strong enough to cope by itself at the moment seen as we shocked it twice to try and get it back into rhythm - other than that, if your husband here can take care of you, you'll be able to go home tomorrow - but it will be bed rest for two weeks" Maggie spoke, smiling over at Buck who was still red and still trying to process everything that was going on - he couldn't help but think why Eddie wasn't correcting her - maybe just maybe he had a chance with him being his husband, Buck thought to himself.

"That's great news, I can't wait to get out of this place" Eddie did his famous grin over to Buck before thanking Maggie as she left with his charts to update them.

Eddie raised an eyebrow as he turned around to see Buck smirking.

"What?"
