"It's been a whole week Diaz" Buck groaned as he got out Eddie's car.
"I'm still finding paint in my hair! I blame this all on you"

"Well it was your fault that you started the paint fight!" Eddie laughed, coming round to the same side as buck.

"But you finished it Ed's, so technically it's not my fault" buck flashed his famous smile at Eddie before huddling into him.
Eddie wrapped his arm around Buck - chuckling to himself as he remembers what had happened the week before they finally decided to go back to work.

"Back to the same old shifts" buck groaned slightly as they made there way in - being greeted by the team.

"Buck! Eddie! It's good to have you back! It has been so boring without you guys!" Hen calls out, walking over to them with Chim not far behind.
She engulfs them in a hug as she looked at buck with a questioning look.

"I'm not even going to ask why there's paint in both of your hair" she chuckled, giving Chim the look.

"Yeah..." buck spoke, as he felt his face go red out of embarrassment before he rubbed a hand through his hair trying to make it seem like it would come out.
"You can ask Eddie why that's there"

"Hey! You started it! We just discussed this! You started it and I finished it!" Eddie protested.

Hen knew what he meant and scrunched her face, as she looked at Bucks neck - her eyes went wide before looking at how sheepish buck had gone once again.
"Now that's enough detail! Do not say anymore about what happened!"

"I wasn't on planning on going into detail about it anyways hen" Eddie laughed, pulling buck toward him.
"Anyways - we need to get changed so we will be in the locker rooms if you need anything" Eddie smiled, as he walked forward, Buck following close behind.

"Jesus Christ - you would think there madly in love with each other" Chim spoke for the first time as he had finally pieced together everything.

"Jesus Chim - your slow at registering everything" hen laughed before making her way over to the ambulance to restock it.

After buck and Eddie had finally got dressed there made there was back out to the trucks, being met with bobby straight away who was smiling at them both.

"Diaz! Buck! It's good to have you two back!" Bobby smiled as he watched the couple walk into the station together.

"It's good to be back" buck saluted at him, making Eddie laugh.

"Busy day ahead seen as the new guy said the Q word" bobby announced, making everyone groan in annoyance.

"Well looks like we're jinxed" buck rolled his eyes.

"There's no such thing as being jinxed you know" everyone was quick to say something back to Eddie as he shook his head, chuckling to himself.
"Buck don't you dare go in a mood with me just because I said this whole jinxed thing isn't..."

Before Eddie could say anything else the alarm sounded, making everyone look at each other one last time before heading towards the trucks.

"Alright we're going to have to split up into twos okay - buck and Eddie your getting the south side and Chim and Hen you're going to get the north side." Bobby pointed to the layout of the building they had in front of them.
"If no one is on the north side - you two are coming out and helping with paramedics" bobby spoke again, realising how many people where walking wounded.

"Just be careful. The guy that set this fire could still be in there and dangerous" bobby called out - making it very obvious that he was talking about Eddie and Buck.
"That means you two Buck, Eddie - do not get injured you've only just come back from having a break"

"We will be alright - I'll keep Buck safe from being injured" Eddie laughed.

"Makes it even worse that we're jinxed" Eddie rolled his eyes at Bucks response.

"Out of everything buck - that's what scares you! Not the burning down building in front of us" Eddie groaned, rubbing a hand over his tired face.

Buck went to respond when bobby spoke.

"Alright you two - enough of that, let's get in there and figure if we're missing anyone, but if I tell you to back down - I mean it you two" bobby interfered with the two bickering over being jinxed.

"alright Cap, we're going in" Eddie smiled, putting his helmet on.

Bobby nodded as he watched his crew go into the burning building.

A few minutes had passed, the team had started to pull a fair few amount of people out of the building - some with bad burns or some with the less extreme injuries like little cuts on their body.

Bobby had intel that the building wasn't going to be standing for much longer and it would collapse any time within the next ten to fifteen minutes.
Which meant he needed to get his team out now - not knowing where shouts they could be in the building.
The building was fairly large and had many rooms in.

"Be careful in there - you could have around about ten minutes left in there before it will all start to collapse."
Hen and Chim reported back - making it clear that they were now on there way back out.

"Eddie! Buck? Do you copy?" Bobby spoke through his radio trying to get them to communicate with him.
There was a few minutes of silence as he hoped for someone to answer. But that was unsuccessful.

"Captain Nash, you need to get your firefighters out now or else there going to be crushed in a burning pile of rubble!" One of the accident commanders spoke, walking over to them.

"I'm trying! Alright!" Bobby snapped trying his radio again as the panic set in.

"Oh shit"
