You got up and started walking to the girls' house, but was stopped by the female teacher that was in charge of pretty much everything.

"Am I going to have to start forcing you to sit right beside me so that you don't keep inviting your new love interest over?" the teacher said giving you a dead serious look that kind of scared you.

"Oh... I'm sorry. There's no need for that because he's just a nice person I've met. Its good to make new friends and talk to new people, right? I'm not trying to be disrespectful to you, but I don't understand what's wrong with making a new friend and talking." you said with a pained look on your face.

"I guess you do have a point. But I do not want your new friend to interfere with our trip, or else I will have to make you sit beside me." she said right as she started walking up to the house.

That was scary. You almost got banned from sitting with Eren and it was only the second day.

After that unpleasant interaction, you started following everyone else up to the house and spotted Armin sitting in a chair on the deck of the boys' house.

"Would you like me to make you a sandwich?" you called to him, who wasn't too far away from you at that point.

"No thanks." he called back. His tone still seemed off. The Armin you knew would've gladly accepted a sandwich from you and been very grateful for it.

You were saddened that you wouldn't be making a sandwich for him, but you went ahead and made yourself a ham and cheese sandwich and ate it on the shaded deck that faced the ocean. You were thinking about how fun Eren's friends seemed and how excited you were to be able to hang out with them. You already had an idea of how you would sneak out.  A few hours after everyone had gone to sleep, you would quietly leave the house through the door that led to the porch at the back of the house. The most challenging part would be that you didn't really have anyone in your house that could cover for you if there were suspicions since you weren't close with any of them. Nevertheless, you thought it was worth the risk.

After everyone was done eating, they all went back out onto the beach but you weren't really in the mood to lay on your towel alone without having Armin there to talk to you, so you asked if you could go ahead and get showered and dressed. Your teacher gave you permission, so you went back into the cool air conditioned house alone. You went to your suitcase and got a tshirt, some shorts, underwear, and your bathroom products and took a shower. You shaved and washed your hair. You put
on lotion, got dressed, did your makeup and hair, and then put on perfume.

You left the bathroom and went to your bed and decided to take a nap while the house was quiet and you had free time alone. You didn't want to be tired for the night that was ahead of you.

After sleeping for about an hour, you woke up and the house was still empty so you went out onto the deck that faced the porch and saw everyone still on the beach. It was 3:30 so it was getting close to the time that they would all start packing up and coming in to get ready to go to dinner. While you waited on everyone, you sat under the shaded part of the deck and watched a show on Netflix to pass the time until dinner.

It was 4:30 and everyone had come in and started getting ready to go, so you went inside and changed into a nicer top and a pair of short jean shorts and then threw on some sandals. After a while, you all piled into the vans. You got into one of them and saw Armin in his usual window seat.

"Is it okay if I sit here?" you asked timidly while pointing at your usual seat. You wanted to make sure he was okay with you sitting beside him since he was upset with you for some reason.

"Go ahead." he said as he rested his head against the window and looked out.

The rest of the ride to the restaurant, he didn't say a single word to you. You just went on your phone to try to alleviate the tension between you two. You were still determined to fix this issue asap.
