You woke up at 7:00. Everyone was starting to get all of their things packed up and loaded into the vans. You sat up in your bed and stared at the bracelet on your wrist. You took a deep breath and stood up and got your things packed. You took your suitcase outside and sat it in the driveway so that the teachers could pack it into the van you rode in. You went back into the house and grabbed a breakfast bar and went onto the deck alone and took a seat. You had all of your things ready to go, but you yourself were far from ready to go. You looked out onto the ocean which had a pink color to it because of the sunrise above. As you were blankly staring at the it, you heard someone come up behind you.

"Are you okay?"

You turned around and saw Armin standing there with a sorry look on his face.

"Yeah. I'll be fine. I'm just sad to go."

"Well... I have something that I think you might want."

He reached into his pocket and pulled out a polaroid picture and handed it to you. You looked at it and tears immediately started forming in your eyes. It was a picture of you and Eren sitting on the sand looking at the ocean from behind. Armin must have snuck a picture while you two were talking on the beach at some point.

"Armin... thank you so much. This is amazing." you said as you stood up and gave him a tight hug.

"Yesterday when I went up to make our sandwiches, I snuck my camera with me and took that picture while I was behind you. I figured you might like it." he smiled.

"I couldn't thank you enough. You're the best." You gave him a warm smile and wiped the tears from your eyes.

"Class! Get in the vans we're leaving right now!" you heard your teacher shout from around the front of the house.

"Oh. It looks like we better go then. Come on." Armin said as he started walking to the vans.

You looked back out to the ocean one last time and then followed him. You were so happy about the picture that Armin had taken. It meant so much to you that he even thought to do that.

You took a seat next to him and closed your eyes. You were so tired from the lack of sleep that you had been getting and you figured that the drive home was a great way to catch up on rest. Your heart felt heavy but also full of joy at the same time. The trip really was something that you would cherish the rest of your life.

You woke up back in your hometown. You were getting close to being back at the school. You had to admit to yourself that it did feel good to be home finally.

You reached the school and everyone got off of the vans. "Well. We're back. It's been great." Armin said while he grabbed all of his stuff. "I'll see you later."

"Bye Armin." He left and started walking home. Your house was in the opposite direction so you couldn't walk with him. You got your suitcase and also started walking home.

You got to your front door and went into the empty house. Nobody was home at that time because your parents were both working. You went to your room and dropped your stuff on the ground and immediately sat down on your bed and called Eren like he told you to do.

"I'm home." you said as soon as he picked up, which was only about a second after you called.

"Did the trip back go well?" he asked.

"Yeah. I slept pretty much the whole time. As soon as we hang up I'll probably go right back to sleep. I'm pretty exhausted." you said while slightly laughing.

"I don't blame you. You were awake for most of the nights doing random stuff with me and going back and forth on the sand. I won't keep you long because you really do need to rest up. I just wanted to make sure you got home safe."

"I appreciate you checking up on me. It means a lot. Thank you."

"No problem. Well, I'll talk to you later."

"Ok. Talk to you soon."
