Chapter 43: Date

You and Eren walked into the building and found your way to the room where the show was at. You took your seats just as they were turning the lights off for the showing. Eren subtly grabbed your hand and held onto it as you both stared in amazement at the scenes above you.

"This is amazing. It's so much cooler in person. Thank you so much for bringing me here." you whispered to Eren.

"You're welcome. I figured you might like something like this." he whispered back, tightening his grip on your hand.

As the show continued and all kinds of stars, planets, and galaxies were brightly displayed, you and Eren would quietly make small comments here and there to each other about how cool everything looked up close. Your stomach had butterflies from the amount of happiness you were feeling from the time at the planetarium, but sadly the show ended quicker than you would've liked and you and Eren left the building and went to his car.

"We should definitely do that again sometime." you said as you made yourself comfy in the passenger seat of his car.

"For sure. I'd do anything to see that excited look on your face again." he smirked.

You rolled your eyes and slightly smiled. "Shut up. Don't say dumb things like that."

"Oh my bad. Sorry I just like seeing my girlfriend look happy." he chuckled.

Your stomach flipped a little when you heard him say girlfriend. You just weren't used to it since you had only been officially dating him for a short time, not including the week-long breakup. You smiled at the sound of it and it made you feel giddy inside, even though you didn't want to show it.

"What now? It's 12:00." he told you as he started driving out of the parking lot.

You hummed as you thought for a second and then came up with an idea. "Mall? I haven't been to the mall around here very many times so I kinda wanna go again at some point."

"Sounds good to me. I've only been there as many times as you have." he said.

You shopped for several hours at the huge mall and grabbed a small lunch at the food court while you were there. You and Eren had a lot of fun picking things out for each other and just being together having a good time.

"Anywhere else you wanna go before we leave?" Eren asked you as he wrapped an arm around your shoulders as you walked.

"No I think I'm done for today. It's already 4 so I think we've been here long enough." you giggled.

"Okay let's go home then."

You went to the car and drove back to Eren's dorm.

You walked into the room and dropped all your bags on the bed. "Want me to do a fashion show for you with all my new stuff?" you asked Eren who was trying to climb onto his bed overtop of all your new stuff to an open spot where he could sit.

"Uhhh is that even a question?" he said with his eyebrows cocked.

"Ok then." you said as you quickly took off your shirt.

"Woah damn I didn't know you really meant right this second." Eren yelled as he shielded his eyes with his hand, causing you to laugh.

"You don't wanna watch?" you jokingly asked.

"I mean... I just didn't think you would really want me to..." he said with a grin as he parted his fingers slightly, letting his eyes have a glimpse of you changing your clothes.

"Ok ok you can take your hand all the way off because I'm done changing into the first outfit now. What do you think?" you asked with a smile as you held your arms out.

"FUCKK!!" Eren obnoxiously yelled at the top of his lungs in a joking way.

"Eren! We're in a dorm shut up!" you yelped as you jumped onto the bed and covered his mouth with your hand.

"What? I just think you look so good I couldn't help it." he squeaked out after ripping your hand off his mouth.

You put your face about an inch away from his and stared into his eyes with a grin. "Eren. How many times do I have to tell you? We're in a dorm, so there's no screaming. It's the rule."

"I'll remember to remind you of that rule later when you're screaming." he said in a serious way, teasing you.

You grabbed onto his shoulders and turned your face away from him in shock, trying to contain yourself. You looked back at him, trying to keep your smile hidden. "You can't just stay stuff like that while I'm trying to do an innocent fashion show for you. Dumbass." You emphasized the word innocent while raising your eyebrows.

"Yeah yeah yeah my bad just get on with the haul I wanna see everything else you got." he grinned and rolled his eyes.

You continued to try on the rest of your new outfits as Eren and you joked around and had laughed at dumb comments he would make until your stomachs were sore.

At about 5:30, you had some leftovers Eren had in his fridge from a restaurant he had gone to the day before. You watched a show on Netflix as you ate in his bed together.

You had your eyes on the tv, but your mind was somewhere else. You were thinking about the immense relief you felt after the agonizing week you had been through. You knew that Eren never intended to put you through any of that, and the day that you were having with him made it even more clear that he cared about you more than anything.
