TW: Hey guys, just to let you know that this chapter will contain a... Less than pleasant scene, so to speak. Please read at your own discretion. It's a very short scene and is actually marked off by the little heart border thingy (the scene starts after the 2nd heart line and ends after the 3rd) so if you wanna skip it then feel free. Stay safe! ❤
Once again the couple were woken up by a gentle knock at the door at a ridiculous hour in the morning. If this was gonna become a regular thing then Kailey was gonna lose her shit. She groaned loudly, twisting out of Luka's arms and storming angrily to the door, flinging it open and ignoring Luka's mumbled protests.
"What?" She snapped, glaring up at James who was there once again.
"Good morning to you too Kailey," He said cheerily, unfazed by her obvious irritation.
She groaned again mumbling a quick 'Good morning' to him before asking why he was here.
"I was going to ask Luka to come to training again, obviously you can't come because you have school today don't you? So, you need sleep," He said, glancing back at Luka who had now pulled the pillow over his head to block out the conversation.
Kailey followed his line of sight and rolled her eyes, turning back to her brother.
"Gimme a sec to wake him up, he'll be down soon. If he even wants to, of course," She said, a subtle request for him to leave.
James simply nodded, telling her to have a good day at school - in case he didn't see her later that morning- and then leaving the two alone.
Kailey shut the door and crept back over to the bed, crawling over Luka so she could get back to her side. He hissed at her, trying to bat her away and she laughed, dropping down to lie face to face with him. Or they would be face to face if he didn't still have a pillow over his head.
She poked his shoulder, trying to get his attention.
"You gotta go, Luka..." She mumbled gently, shaking him lightly.
He whined, whacking her hand away and then pulling her close, her face pressed into his shoulder. Right above the mark that she had made the day before... She blushed at the memory but didn't mention it, not wanting to give Luka more of a reason to stay.
Not that she wanted him to go, she wanted nothing more than for him to stay and for them to just stay cuddled in each others' arms but that couldn't happen. Luka had to go train and she had to stay. Not only did she have school later that day- which she had no idea how she'd deal with considering she hadn't been apart from Luka for longer than 5 minutes since they'd been reunited- but Sam would be at training too. It wasn't smart for them to even be in the same room at that moment. Luka seemed to be Ok with it though, at least he hadn't said anything bad about it all since it had happened.
She blinked, using the brief darkness as a reprieve to clear her mind from the thoughts and focus herself back on the situation.
She pressed a kiss against his shoulder, blatantly avoiding the mark.
"Believe me, I want you to stay too but training is more important so you have to go..." She murmured, shifting out of his arms.
"But I don't wanna..." He moaned, trying to pull her back into his arms.
She giggled, batting his arms away and getting off the bed, walking to his side so she could try to drag him off.
"If you don't get up now then you don't get a good morning kiss ever again," She said, a bit smugly.
He gasped dramatically, sitting up immediately and staring at her with betrayal in his eyes.
"You wouldn't..." He said, almost challenging her to say yes.
