Tommy and I were kissing passionately on the kitchen counter. Er.. No actually- but I wished that's what was happening. Oops. My bad.
I was really just home with Ty, M and Yas doing manicures and chatting. Typical girl time. Ty was painting my toes with a cherry red while Yasmin opted for what I'm sure she thought was a creative mix of red and purple. May rose to get us a tub of ice cream.
"So," Yas said looking around. "What's been going on with you guys?"
May returned with the bowl and four spoons. "Oh you know, almost being killed and all"
"What?" Yasmin looked confused.
I leaned forward wanting a clear view of her face while I explained. "Tyler here was being stalked. A masked guy with a knife and everything"
"Haha stop joking," Yasmin laughed.
"Its true, I was attacked too" May said.
"That's why she lives with Dimitri now," I added.
"Wow" Yasmin whispered. "For real?"
"Yup," Tyler finally chipped in. "Daddy even got me a body guard"
At that moment Xavier walked past with a towel around his waist.
"Oh so that's why there's a hottie called X waltzing around the house," Yas smirked.
Ty simply blushed lowering her head. Xavier walked by again to his room sparing us a glance as he past. I saw a little bit of pink on his cheeks when he saw that we were staring at him. Aw so cute when they blush together.
"Ah, what about you Yas, anything new?" Tyler broke the silence.
"Nothing much, I'm just tired of-"
She was cut off by Ty's phone ringing.
"Sorry" she took it and walked to the kitchen.
A few minutes later she came back and bounced on the couch making me almost spill the nail polish. "Charlie is coming home tomorrow. I'm picking her up in the evening." She announced.
"Oh, that's nice," I commented.
"What were we talking about again?"
"Yasmin was going to tell us what she's tired of."
We all turned to her. "Okay well not exactly"
"What are you talking about?" May threw up her hands exasperatingly. She was usually impatient with things like this.
"Can you keep a secret?"
"What?" We all inched closer.
"I'm uh, I'm pregnant" she proclaimed.
"What?!" We all screamed.
"Yeah, yeah calm down." Yasmin whispered.
"For Andre?" Ty asked.
"Like who else?" Yas rolled her eyes.
Andre was Yasmin's boyfriend. They've been together for years and Ty always told her to find someone better because she didn't really like him much.
"I can't believe you Yas!" Ty cried.
"I'm so happy for you!!" I exclaimed.
"Wow," was all May could say.
I glared at Ty.
"Boy or girl?" Ty asked catching my drift.
"I'm hoping its a boy" Yasmin grinned.
"I better be his godmother," Ty said sighing. Thank God she was loosening up.
"I'm going to Milan!" May suddenly wailed.
"Okay, back up, what?" I asked. This conversation was definitely brain tasking.
"You heard me," May continued. "I've been offered a contract for six months and it's in Milan."
"Wow, May that's really nice," Yas chirped.
"Yeah, what's so bad about it?" Ty asked.
"You're not mad that I accepted before telling you?"
"Of course not" I answered.
"Or that I'll be moving?"
"We'll come visit" Ty suggested.
"Okay then," May grinned.
Soon Ty started jumping on the couch and we joined in laughing and whooping.
"Is everything alright?" A fully dressed Xavier appeared at the door looking confused.
That made us erupt in more laughter and collapse on the couch.
