It was Saturday morning and I was positively wiped out. Thank God I didn't have classes today.

I heard a knock on my door which I ignored. I heard more knocks.

"Go away," I pulled my pillow over my head.

"Hey Tyler, its me," I heard X call.

"Leave me alone," I grumbled.

Then I heard the door open.

"You're stubborn," I muttered.

"Look who's talking," he chuckled. I huffed and proceeded make myself more comfortable.

"Wake up, princess!"

I yawned. Suddenly I felt the covers being yanked from the bed and I was attacked by tickles. Believe me I am very ticklish. VERY.

"No, X, stopp!!!" I screamed.

"You up yet?"

"Yes, yes, please!!"

"Okay good," he stood up straight and then I noticed I was only wearing a tank top and very short shorts. He seemed to notice too because his eyes darkened and he looked away while I attempted to cover up.

"Er, its 9 and you have that appointment at 10," he coughed.

"Yeah, that, thanks." I managed. "I should probably-"

"Yeah, go ahead. I'll leave now."

"Thanks," I called again.

X was driving me to the hospital for a bronchitis checkup. We had hardly spoken since he'd woken me up and the radio stations were all playing slow songs so I turned it off.

A question had been bugging me since last night and I guess now was the best time to ask it.

"Xavier?"

"Yeah?" He answered, his eyes still on the road.

"Why don't you have a girlfriend?"

"Huh?"

"Like a date, a special someone?"

He didn't answer but I noticed him clutching the wheel a little tighter.

"You don't need to answer if you don't want to." I added quickly.

Xavier.

"Its okay," I replied. I noticed she was toying with the hem of her skirt. She was uncomfortable.

"Her name was Ruby and we broke up six months ago," I started. "We'd dated for a year until she decided she couldn't cope with me not always being around because of my job. Then she moved on a week later with some guy I thought was her family member."

"Woah"

"Yeah," I smiled ruefully. "How about you? Why don't you have 'a special someone'?"

I sent her a gaze that got her cheeks darker. I loved that I could do that to her. It was a combination of sexy and cute.

"Well um, I just always do or say the wrong thing which always ends up ending things," she said smiling but her eyes weren't shining.

"Then they must've been really stupid to let you go so easily."

There was silence in the car for a while before I spoke up, "You're an amazing person Ty"

She looked up at me with a surprised smile. She was so beautiful I couldn't help but smile back.
