I was awoken by the sound of my phone buzzing. I rolled over and slowly pried open my eyes. I blinked a few times and stared at the time on the screen.
It was freaking 2:00am!

The caller's ID was Unknown. I swiped the call button and pressed it to my ear.

"Hello?" My voice was tired and sleepy.

"Tyler I'm sorry for calling you at this time but I need you to come pick me up. Text you the address," Charlie's voice was urgent.

A few seconds later, a text popped up. What the f*ck was Charlie doing? She didn't seem the type for late night partying or anything of the sort.

I put on a dark blue sweater over my tank top and night shorts. I slipped out of my room and tip toed. Xavier was watching me all the time.

"Where d'you think you're going?" He asked.

"Uh.. Er.." I stammered.

"Shut up and let's go," he cut in as he sighed.

My head was pressed on the cool glass as Xavier listened to the damn annoying GPS app. The voice was  pissing and X smiled happily.

"What's Charls doing out this late though?" He glanced at me. He and Charlie were like besties or something and I could tell he cared for her a lot like a sister.

"Beats me," I shrugged.

X pulled up in a shabby looking motel with a crappy name. I texted Charlie, telling her we had arrived.

Few minutes, she came out wearing a remorse face with her shoulders slumped.

"Do you mind telling us what you're doing here?" X demanded.

"A party but I'm really sorry X. I don't know why I snuck out in the first place. I am ree-lee saw-ree," she said.

"Charlie when next you're organizing something at least pick a good place. This  is just pathetic," I looked around in distaste. I was actually worried a bit. But Charlie was a good girl and I trusted she wasn't dump enough to do anything stupid.

Picture of Charlie up.
