I stuck my pencil in my messy bun as I typed away on my laptop. Of course I was doing a class assignment. Or maybe I was doing something else. Actually, I was chatting with Marko.

I heard noises from outside my room. No one was home. I was scared. Ever since the incident, I had issues. At least he hadn't done anything after that. He said my name. How did he know my name? Goose bumps broke out on my skin.

"Charlie, Is that you?!" I called.

Charlie appeared with her sister, Khris. Who next, my mother? Why were they all showing up like we were the 'it' family. We weren't. Khris looked exactly the same. Still hot as usual with the certain charm and the million dollar smile she always managed to pull off. I remembered how my guy friends long ago got closer to me to get to her. Those boys.

"Khris?" I smiled.

"Its me sport," she said fondly. She treated me like I was a freaking baby. She always said I was the best sister she never had, making her sister yell in protest.

"Hey, don't call me that," I pouted and folded my arms across my chest.

"Cool boobs. I want to touch em."She stared. Trust her to say something like that.

"Ew,no," I disagreed.

"So why'd you come here?" I asked, shutting my laptop.

"My boyfriend and I have been traveling everywhere. So I thought we'd come here," she said.

"Oh that's nice. Er.. Damien, yeah?" Khris and that boyfriend of hers. I'd found him creepy in a hot way. But I didn't really care, it wasn't important to me.

"Its Damon," Charlie corrected.

"So, yeah yeah. I'm happy to see you and all, but when do I get some food!" She yelled. She pulled up her shirt, revealing her pants which were held up by a leather belt,"lost some more pounds."

"There's chicken in the fridge," I said.

"I love you, hon!" She smiled.

"Charlie, go help," I ordered.

"Its Mrs. Johansen," she corrected seriously. She might not have lost all hope on Dimitri after all.

An hour later, Khris had left, saying she'd be back soon. Charlie and I were home alone. Xavier hadn't been in lately. He was probably with Ava or he'd decided to stay in his own apartment.

My phone vibrated on the bed and Charlie leaned forward to check the ID.

"It's not saved here. Should I pick it up?" She asked. I nodded and she kept it on speakerphone.

There was a lot of noise in the background and the caller hadn't spoken.

"Hello?" Charlie answered. The caller had said something at the same time as her and then stopped immediately after hearing her voice. There was a pause then the line went dead.

"What was that all about?" She asked in confusion. She attempted calling but no answer.

"Maybe wrong number?" I shrugged, not looking up from my textbook. I wasn't really reading it, though. Just flipping the pages out of boredom. I needed a distraction.

"Yeah. And by the way, is there any chance you could slip that Marko my number?" She pleaded hopefully.

"What happened to Mrs. Jay?" I laughed a bit.

"This Marko guy is my plan B," she said,"he just might be my only hope at dating."

"Oh, Charles. You never cease to amuse me."

I jogged down the street, my earphones in my ears. I had been eating unhealthy lately and feeling particularly lazy. I needed Reena in my life and she'd left me and practically moved in with Tommy, or was either at May's. Charlie was a teenager and knew nothing about parenting. Reena was my Mommy and I wanted her!

I could literally feel the small ounces of fat go away. I was sweating now and feeling weak. My chest was acting up again. Maybe just a few more blocks. I continued jogging. Then something hard hit me and I felt myself fall. I was caught in powerful arms. My front against a hard body.

My eyes shifted from the persons torso to the face. Keenan. His hair was everywhere, looking wild. And those eyes.... He was wearing a Grey hoodie and Maaan he smelled good..

"Uh.." I gathered myself together and he took his hands off me.

"Tyler," he said my name. I felt myself grow a little weak.

"Thanks for.." My voice trailed off.

"Its okay," he said quickly, then stared at me. "D'you wanna come home with me. To change and stuff. You're sweating buckets."

"Yeah, thanks," I said. He held my hand in mine and we walked down the street, squeezing my hand anytime I coughed.

We got to his house and he unlocked the door and we entered. It was really junky with clothes and pillows scattered on the floor. There were also empty boxes of pizza on the small coffee table.

The walls were painted grey and blue. A rug covered up most of the floor and the place had a cosy roomy feeling.

"There's a bathroom upstairs. They're towels and everything. I'll get something for you to wear," he said.

"Thanks," I smiled before climbing upstairs slowly.

I found a small bathroom attached to a room I assumed was his. I stepped into it and locked the door. I pulled off my clothes and stayed under the shower. I was in Keenan's house. Charlie would be wishing she was me right now.

After, the shower. I wore a blue robe that I found. There was a red shirt and sweatpants on the bed like he said they'd be. I put on the clothes and returned downstairs where Keenan was frying eggs.

"You cook?" I asked.

"Why wasn't Xavier with you?" he asked, ignoring me.

I laughed," he's not going to be with me all the time. He has a life."

"Yeah. He seems really nice."

"I know he was angry that day. He gets jealous like that," I said then inched closer an whispered,"he has a thing for me."

"It's pretty obvious," he frowned.

"You look ugly when you frown," I said in mock disgust.

"A kiss would make me smile," he offered.

"I don't think Charlie would like that," I said.

"Who's Charlie?" He asked in confusion.
