I woke up feeling queasy. My head ached terribly, and I felt sick. What was wrong with me? The growing pain in my head increased.

"Knock kbock," Reena said brightly. She pushed my door open, and entered the room without my permission.

I groaned, clutching my sides.

"What's up?" She sat on the edge of the bed, and looked at me.

"I think I'm sick," I mumbled. What could be wrong? I couldn't even place the symptoms. It was like a whole ball of pain was growing inside me.

"Is this a joke about me and Tommy?" She frowned.

"And you think I wouldn't have puked already?"

"Oh this is serious, then. How about we go to the hospital? See what's wrong?" She suggested.

"Um...okay," I said, struggling to get to the bathroom. I heard the door shut.

I took a cold shower, trying to make the pain go away.My . I dressed up in a light blue sweater, white shorts and sandals and tied my hair up. I made my way outside my bedroom. I saw Reena already dressed.

"Can we go now?" I managed to say.

"Sure but you have to eat something," she said. Without this girl, I'd probably be in a bad state after all these years. She was the reason my mother had restful nights.

"I want a bagle," I begged.

"We'll get that on our way, okay?"

I was on the uncomfortable hospital bed, waiting for the Doctor to arrive wh the results of the test. I heared a knock on the door.

"Come in," Reena answered for me.

It was no Doctor. It was May, my other best friend. We hadn't talked or seen each other for a long time, because of the rift in our friendship. I didn't know what happened, really. I think we just slowly drifted. Reena and May's relationship wasn't affected by that, though.

She opened the door hesitantly, unsure of my reaction to see her.

"Hey," She smiled shyly. No , she was not at all shy. She was just guilty. Only a sick me, brought her to see me.

I smiled in return.

"Are you okay, Ty?" She asked, concerned. I could tell she was trying to salvage the relationship because, when we stopped talking she called me Tyler. And now she was back to my old nickname - Ty.

"I could be better," I replied, sighing.

She sat beside Reena who was already asleep on the recliner. Her gentle snores could be heard.

The door opened, and this time, I didn't hear a knock. Who the hell was that thinking...

I took back my words immediately.

Before us, was a young, hot guy, who apparently was a Doctor... Hmm, hot Doctor? I liked the sound of it, very much.

Blonde hair, blue eyes. Mama mia. I felt like I could look at him forever. He was taking the pain away. How was he doing it?

He smiled, revealing a set of pearly white teeth.

I blushed. God, he was smiling at me. Of course. It's part of the job to be nice. Being sick messed up my head.

I spotted May nudging Serena, and her eyes widened. I guessed that she liked what she saw too.

"I just came to check on you," he explained," have you taken the pills like you're supposed to?"

"Yes," I said,"I feel much better." Looking at you..

"Are the tests out yet?" Reena asked, jumping at the opportunity to talk to him.

"Well. Nothing's wrong with her. She's just stressed out. She needs to relax and get some rest,"he said, assuring Reena, who looked too lovestruck to be my worried friend.

"Can I have him as my get-well-soon present?" I turned to Reena. May giggled, and Reena just stared at me with her mouth open. I turned back to the smiling hot blonde.

I read his name tag. Keenan.

"Bye, ladies."

"Bye Keenan," we sang in sync. So I wasn't the only one checking out his name tag...
