Serena and Tommy.
I like - Keri Hilson.
I felt a bright light hit my eyes and I opened them. Memories of last night came flooding in, causing me to smile. I turned my head to see Tommy sleeping beside me. He looked so peaceful and happy even in his sleep, causing my heart to burst.
After ogling him for a while, I yawned and stretched, carefully removing his arm from across my stomach and walked to the bathroom. I had bed hair and panda eyes from my mascara I'd applied yesterday and a huge grin on my face. Why wouldn't I smile, I was the happiest woman in the world.
Yesterday night was wonderful and it was very clear in my head at that moment...

"Do you think I should go for the white or black dress?" I asked Tyler as I held them both by their hangers and stared into the mirror. Tyler was the worst person to ask for advice; she had a 'throw on whatever looks good' policy and she always begged me to organise her outfit for important dates. Like earlier on with Xavier, I wondered what was going on between them. She had a very confusing love life.
She looked up from her iPod and frowned, "I though you were wearing the ivory dress."
I glanced at the beautiful lace dress on my bed and sighed, "Isn't it too fancy? It's just our anniversary."
"No, it's perfect. And...don't you always want to look nice for Tommy?" Tyler added with a wink. She ushered me to get dressed. I smiled inwardly, knowing that it would be such a great night.
The dress was really pretty, and Tyler helped with my makeup. I didn't know why she was being so helpful, considering this had to do with Tommy. Hmm, maybe she was finally realizing what a great person he was.
"All done," she smiled happily at her work. I think she was more happy about her skills, than my anniversary with Tommy. Either ways, we both were happy. And that was good, right? "Where's Tommy?" She asked impatiently.
"He'll be here soon," I checked for updates on my phone.
"Why don't you get dressed. Xavier will be ready in a while, obviously. And what about your checkup?" I asked her.
"Um...well, Xavier...yeah?" She stuttered, playing with her hands and chewing her lip. I could see her cheeks turn pink.
"What are you saying?! Tyler, you know that made no sense at all?" I said. Ooh, I think she liked Xavier. I mean, we always knew all along. And maybe she was just acting this way because she was confused. Well, that was for her to figure out. Let's get to the party!
"I'm going to take a shower. See you at the party," she winked at me, before leaving my room. Oh, she had no idea...
My phone rang on the vanity table. A quick glance at the glowing screen told me that it was Tommy. I didn't want to seem too anxious, so I picked it up on the second ring.
"Babe, I'm outside," he said in his deep, husky voice. After all these years, I still couldn't get over it. I found myself becoming giddy and excited this time.
"Okay, I'll be there soon," I tried to make my voice calm and steady, but there was still a trace of excitement in it. I grabbed my purse, and said bye to Tyler, who was in her room.
As soon as I was downstairs, I spotted Tommy's car. Here we go.
We were supposed to head to Tommy's house for the party, but I could tell he was taking a different route. I was confused and looked beside me at him. He looked cool, driving with one hand easily. I couldn't help but notice the smirk tugging at his lips. Something was up, I could tell.
"Um...babe? Why..." I started, before he shut me up, lifting a finger. I closed my mouth.
"Sh. Trust me." He glanced at me quickly. Oh.
I dipped my hand into my hand into my purse and got out a pack of breath mints. You know, in case things got...heated up.
After about thirty minutes, we got to a large building. It wasn't Tommy's house. This was more beautiful and expensive. There was a coloured fountain in the middle of it all. The building was lit up with fairy lights. It looked really pretty in the dark night. It seemed like a very fancy hotel.
I looked over to Tommy when I was done admiring the place. I couldn't fight back the huge smile.
"Do you like it?" He asked, leaning over to kiss me. That breath mint came in really handy.
"Wow, what is it?" I asked, his face still close to mine and I could feel the hotness of her breath fanning my face.
"We'll be spending the night here." Ooh. I tried not to blush too hard.
"But what about the party?" I asked, suddenly remembering. Tyler and May would probably be mad. He silenced me with another kiss. Gosh.
"I have that covered," he assured me, before helping with my seatbelt.
The restaurant we ate at that night was really awesome. I was sure Tyler would love it. I felt guilty, ditching the party. But I was having fun. Tommy was being so adoring tonight. I was on cloud nine, and I was getting tired of hiding my happiness.
We were seated at a table in the corner of the room, away from the other tables. Tommy must have planned this whole thing. So why did he plan a party, if we weren't going to attend? I quickly brushed it off, and returned to enjoying myself.
I sipped from my glass, staring down at my phone. May was calling. Earlier on, Tyler had called. I felt guilty again for not answering. She would understand, I guess, when I explained the whole thing to her. Okay, maybe not the whole thing...
I looked back at Tommy, who was now turned to face me, with a little box in his hand. Whoa. I could see a huge diamond inside, and he was smiling. My mouth slacked.
"Serena? Will you marry me?" What! Oh my God, Oh my God. This was Tommy proposing. Was this real? It felt so sudden and unexpected. My face lit up with joy.
"Yes, of course I will!" I fanned myself with a hand, overwhelmed by his sudden question. He had just asked me to marry him. I'd seen it in movies, but this felt more amazing. He took my left hand, slipping the ring on, his eyes not moving from my face.
Ah!
