23 - Who is the murderer?

After we found the three bodies hanging from the banisters, we needed a few minutes to digest the shock a little. We decided, to protect ourselves, to stay calm and just ask the others if they had noticed anything. Of course, we would have liked to ask them which of them hanged the three.

But who knows what would happen to us then. We will not do or say anything that will put us in danger. But, we will continue to secretly keep an eye on the others.

My brother said, before we go back to the exit, we need to find out which of our friends or group members, we can even trust anymore. Honestly, I don't plan on staying here that long until we see a light and know who the killer is and who we can still count as friends.

And honestly, once we start doing that, looking for the bad guys among us for much longer, we'll probably never get out of here. Maybe then we will hang like these three, strung up on a banister in the stairwell.

My dad always said that if something seems strange to you, then maybe something is wrong and your subconscious, is giving you a warning with it. And I had that warning when Brian and Sarah came to us. They are revealing themselves more and more and they don't even realize it.

The two who claim to be simple London tourists and in China for the first time not only speak perfect Chinese, but suddenly have a Texan accent when they speak English and Han, who apparently also noticed that the two are not real, set a few traps for them by asking them a few real questions and a few fake questions.

He even gave them a few false answers, which, if they were telling the truth, they would correct. And if they lied, just kept on lying.

Now for example, Han's little brother's name is Andy. However, Han asked the two, "Are you two sure that my little brother Lou is dead?" The two nodded and confirmed that Lou, who doesn't even exist, certainly didn't survive.

Then Han asked, and this was proof to even the dumbest among us that the two were lying, "Do you people in Ireland really believe in fairies and leprechauns?" They claimed to be from London, not Ireland.

Brian wanted answers, but Sarah took over and said, "Yes, still many believe in them in our country. In witches, too. We know someone killed his wife because he believed she was a witch. He tortured her and burned her."

A few months ago, a documentary came on the History channel where that's exactly what was in it. A husband, believing his wife worshipped the devil and was a witch, tied his wife to the bed in their shared bedroom and tormented and tortured her for days before burning her in front of the family and his in-laws. No one helped the woman, as they were all firmly convinced that the woman had sex with the devil and was a witch.

Han asked a few more such questions and they were all wrong. Now it is clear that Brian and Sarah, if their names are that, are certainly not survivors from the cave. But, what do we do with this information now? Should we beat them unconscious, tie them to chairs, and then torture them until they tell us the truth?

Just now Meng Yao, Leni and Missy told us that in the afternoon Sarah, Brian, André and Han had left the station for more than two hours. And when they came back, they said André and Han were very upset, but they didn't want to talk about it. Did they have something to do with the three dead?
