Obi-Wan:

The ride to Concordia was uneventful, I spent most of it mulling over all the information I had and almost subconsciously monitoring Ellor's force signature. When we came within easy view of the moon I looked at it. Hmmm...

"I thought Concordia was an agricultural settlement."

"Before the end of our wars, they turned it into a mining base. The sheer number of mining facilities here nearly destroyed our forests. They're finally growing back." Satine sounds proud of the fact. Mandalore really has prospered from her reign.

She had changed her dress to something more practical than the strange robes I had seen her in earlier, and the elaborate headpiece with the jalapeno earrings was gone. I'd imagine them to be uncomfortable but she claimed it was all part of her Aesthetic.

We landed in a hangar bay where a man and two guards awaited us. "Duchess Satine. You are most welcome," the man said in a nasal voice.

"Thank you Governor Viszla. This is Obi-Wan Kenobi, representing the Jedi Counsel. Governor Viszla is one of the officials I spoke of. He has been working to find the Death Watch."

"I take you've heard the rumors about Satine, about how she's supposedly leading Mandalore into an Alliance with the Separatists," Viszla says, sounding gravely disappointed.

"My only instructions are to seek the truth," I respond evenly, though honestly I sincerely doubt their legitimacy. Ellor was right, my vision is clouded in this circumstance, but I still know I'm right.

"This is the man who bombed the memorial shrine?" Viszla asks, referring to the casket floating out of the ship.

"Yes. He was apparently part of Death Watch," I say distastefully.

"A worrisome prospect. If you'll pardon me, General, I must attend to the body." He and his guard follow the casket out of the room. Once they leave I turn and look expectantly at a patch of air to my right.

"Hey guys!" Ellor says cheerfully, popping into view. Satine starts.

"Oh! Padwan! I didn't see you."

"I know. That's kind of my thing. And you can call me Ellor. Apologies for being overly suspicious Duchess, SOMEONE'S a little bit biased and I felt a need to compensate for it." I feel my cheeks go red and I glare at her. What game is she playing now? "I'm allowed to say that after what you said to me earlier, General," she says insubordinately to me, and I roll my eyes and let it go.

"About that, Ellor, I-"

"No time for that, we need to do some scouting. I didn't find anything interesting, I slipped into this room when they were exiting." I sigh, but she's right. She continues, "Oh. Actually Death Watch kind of figured out I stowed away, so it may be best if don't show up at all this visit."

"Ellor! How did they find out? Are you okay?" I'm worried about my padawan, but she just rolls her eyes.

"I'm fine, I'm fine, they were doing a routine scan for life forms and found one extra. But they couldn't turn around and they didn't find me. They did not, unfortunately, lead me to their base, they put the ship down somewhere random and used jet packs to get away from it. They flew high enough that I couldn't see and then they went off. Luckily they had a spare speeder in their ship, which they didn't use and didn't think to explode. So now I'm here." I sigh. Satine is looking on in amusement and a little dismay.

"Satine, you keep the Governor distracted at dinner. Wear this earpiece and contact us if you get into trouble." I hand her an earpiece and comm link keyed to Ellor's and my frequency. "Ellor and I are going to check out one of those mining operations to make sure they're not operational, then we'll check out Death Watch's crashed ship." Ellor nods and goes to check out the speeders.
