It's always been you

A new someone

        
       A few hours went by and Jason wouldn't leave that spot. I ended up staying with Crystal until she woke.
I look down and see Crystal starting to wake up.
"Jacob?" I say rubbing my eyes.
Then everything started to come in a blur everything that happened.
"Oh my gosh. Jacob." I say starting to panic.
"Crystal it's okay." He says to me trying to calm me.
"I almost hurt you. I couldn't control it!" I say crying. "Where's Tammy? The last thing I remember is her flying backwards because of me." I say trying to not cry.
"Crystal Tammy is gone." Jacob says to me.
"Oh my gosh. I killed her." I say covering my mouth.
"No. Once you did that she would've been fine just a few bruises it wouldn't have been that bad but a evil one she went to Tammy and stabbed her. She died." Jacob says reassuring me.
"Where's Jason?" I say holding my tears back.
"He's outside he hasn't left since." Jacob says.
I sit up quickly. I make my way out of the room and into the backyard. I look around and see Jason sitting on the side.
"Jason." I say stuttering.
He looks over with tears in his face. "Crystal." He says crying more.
I rush over putting my arms around him as I sit next to him.
"Jason I'm sorry." I say hugging him tightly.
I stayed with Jason for a bit and we didn't say anything after. It was just peace and quite just the wind blowing at us and the smell of gasoline surrounded the air.
Rain started to pour down and we started to get soaked.
"Jason we have to go inside it's too much rain." I say looking at him. I was about to sit up but Jason grabbed my hand.
I look up at him with the rain dripping down his hair onto his face.
He then moves my hair out of my face and leans in for a kiss. I felt his lips against mine.
He then pulls away looking the other way.
I didn't say anything I just get up and slowly go inside the cottage.
I come in freezing because of the rain.
I quickly go inside the bathroom and notice a beautiful nightgown. I try pulling down the zipper from my dress but it wasn't working.
I peak out the bathroom door seeing Jacob getting ready to lay in bed.
"Jacob." I say calling out to him.
He looks over and sees me at the bathroom door. He walks over to me not saying anything.
"The uh zipper is too far up I can't pull it down can you do it?" I say turning around.
He gently grabs my hair up and puts it to one side. He reaches for the zipper and pulls it down.
"There." He says silently.
I turn around facing him.
"Thank you." I say to him.
He nods and fakes a smile to me.
"Jacob I'm sorry." I say as I just stand there.
He just looks up at me as he turns around and leaves back to the room.
I quickly shut the door and take off the dress.
I hop into the shower as I cried for what felt like hours.
After a hour of showering I hop out.
I grab the nightgown and put it up onto me.
I open the door and quickly go to living room.
There sat Jason with something beside him.
"What's that?" I say looking up at him.
"It's the thing we needed for us to get married." He says smiling a little.
"Oh okay." I reply back.
I gently put my shoes on.
"Where are you going?" He asks looking at me.
"Just a walk." I say grabbing a umbrella.
"I'll go with you." He says standing up quickly.
"Not happening. Go and shower you are soaking wet." I say laughing.
"You shouldn't go out there by yourself." He says looking at me.
"It's okay I need this walk." I say smiling a little.
"Be safe." He says to me.
I smile back and quickly go out of the door.
I just needed to get out of the house I felt too trapped in. I felt suffocating.
I walk by the trail by a forest.
I kept thinking of Jacob. I felt horrible. But he deserves better.
*cough*
Out of nowhere I hear a random cough.
"Hello?!" I say back confused.
"Please help." I hear a girl say.
"Hello?" I say going in the forest.
I look around trying to find where the voice was coming from.
I look over and notice a girl about my age laying back on a tree. Her arm looked hurt and seemed like it was bleeding.
"Hey are you okay?" I say approaching her,
"No my arm is bleeding lots." She says looking up at me.
"Come here." I say helping her up and ripping part of my night gown as I tie it around the girls arm.
"Come I'll take you where I am staying you can stay with me." I say concerned.
"Thank you!" She says greatly.
I smile and lead her the way to the cottage.
I shake off the umbrella and bring her inside.
Jason was sitting on the couch and jumped up when noticing I brought someone home.
"Who is she?!" Jason says annoyed.
"She was hurt she needs to stay with us for today." I say to him.
Jacob ends up coming out of the room annoyed by the yelling of Jason.
"Who is this?" Jacob says confused.
"She was hurt and Jason is yelling at me to throw her out!" I say to him.
"You know what whatever do what you want!" Jason says going into Tammys room.
"I'm sorry." She says.
"No don't apologize. Jacob I was wondering if she can stay in the guest room tonight and if it's okay if you get the air mattress?" I ask looking at him.
"Yeah that's okay." He says going and grabbing the air mattress.
"I'll show you the room." I say leading her to the guest room.
"Thank you so much!" She says smiling.
" of course" I say smiling back. "Get settled in and the bathroom is right across there. Feel like home." I say walking off to the living room where Jacob was.
I look and see Jacob fixing up the air mattress.
"Here I'll go grab some pillows and a blanket for you." I go to the small closet and grab out those things for him.
"Here you go." I say to him.
He gently grabs them from me and fixes the air mattress with the blankets and pillows.
I go and grab a blanket and a pillow and put it on the couch.
"What are you doing?" Jacob asks looking at me.
"Well the guest room is taken and Jason is in Tammys and you have the air mattress so I'll take the couch." I say smiling.
"Not happening. You take the air mattress." He says getting up and sitting on the couch that I was going to sleep on.
"Thanks Jacob." I say going into the blankets of the air mattress.
"If I wake up with a sore body from this I blame you." Jacob says laughing a little.
"Aye! That wouldn't be my fault! You could just lay down here with me." I say realizing what I just said.
He looks at me faking a smile. "Goodnight Crystal." He says putting the blanket over him.
"Goodnight Jacob." I say silently.
A few hours passed by and it was 2 a.m. now. I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking of Jacob. I kept thinking of how I wished I could be with him.
"Crystal?" I hear Jacob say looking at me.
I was crying so I turned around. "Yeah?" I say back stuttering a little trying to push my tears away.
I heard him move off the couch and felt the air mattress wobble a little as Jacob goes under the blankets on the air mattress.
I turn around quickly and go into his arms as tears felt down my face.
"It's okay." He says softly.
And that night was one of the few nights that I would cherish forever because it would be the last.
