Wedding Day

We finally reach shore off the boat. I look around and see all the people waiting for us especially the older lady.
"Oh my what happened to you Crystal?" The lady says looking at me bruised up.
"I uh.."
"We got into a bit of trouble." Jason says stepping in for me as he grabs my hand interlocking it with his.
We walk off into this new place where everyone was safe.
"Crystal we have to get everything ready okay? Go and get dressed." Jason says kissing my cheek and walking off.
I stand there and see Jacob looking over at me.
"Step one I don't think staring at her is going to help you get over her." Sally says standing beside Jacob.
"Her wedding day is today." Jacob says silently.
"It's okay come on." Sally says grabbing Jacob's arm and leading him away.
I walk away too going inside the little room. I notice the older lady was inside.
"I would like to get dress myself for today." I say silently.
"I was just wondering how you were doing." she says.
"I'm doing fine." I say not telling her everything.
"Are you sure?" She asks again.
"Yeah." I say.
"Well I brought you a gift." She says placing a box onto the bed. "It's what your mother wore for her wedding day." She says before walking out of the room.
I open the box carefully and notice a beautiful white dress in it.
I gently rub my fingers through it. It was beautiful. I finally had something of my moms that made me happy and that she would be beside me through it all.
I ask the older lady to help me out it on because I knew I couldn't do it alone.
Finally at last I had it on and it was beautiful.
I twirled in it keeping my tears from falling.
I look back at the older lady. "Could you get Jacob? I want to show him the dress." I say smiling.
"Of course." She says and walks out.
              *with Jacob and Sally.*
"Jacob. Hello I'm one of Crystals friends just helping her get ready and she asked me to come get you to see what she looks like." The lady asks.
Sally looks at me like that's not going to help.
"I uh I can't." I say to the lady.
"Are you sure it's-
"He said no." Sally says grabbing my arm away from the lady.
"Jacob I think we should just leave this dumb wedding." Sally says to me.
"Where?" I ask.
"I'll surprise you come on." Sally smiles and walks off with me.
*back with Crystal*
*knock knock*
"Come in!" I say patting my dress down and a gift behind me.
The lady walks in.
"Where's Jacob?" I ask slightly disappointed.
"He would like not to come see you." The lady says looking at me.
I smile a little.
"That's okay you can go now." I say turning around.
The doors closes as she leaves.
I get a paper from one of the notebooks and tear it.
I sit down and write a note to Jacob.
A tear falls down my face when writing it.
I gently close it and grab the gift with it putting it on top of Jacobs jacket.
The wedding music starts to play.
"Sally where are we going?!" Jacob says laughing.
I sigh opening the door.
"Just a little further!!" Sally says laughing.
I walk down the flower trail leading to Jason.
"Here we are!" Sally says laughing.
I look up at him as he smiles back at me.
"Woah it's beautiful." Jason says looking around.
I look around trying to see if I saw Jacob in the crowd. He was nowhere to be seen.
Before I could say anything else Sally leans in and she kisses me. I felt her lips against mine.
I finally reach Jason I was nervous as I've ever been.
"You look beautiful." Jason says smiling at me.
I smile back.
"Sally I can't." I say pushing back.
"It's okay." Sally replies back.
"Crystal. No I have to get back." Jacob says running back.
"Jacob!!" Sally calls back.
The pastor starts to tell us all about everything.
"Do you Crystal take Jason as your husband to love and cherish?" He says.
"I do." I say slightly unhappy.
"Do you Jason take Crystal as your wife to love and cherish?" He says.
"I do." Jason replies back.
"Okay you may draw your blood into the cup." He says handing it to Jason.
Jason slices the palm of his hand and drips the blood in the cup.
He hands me the knife.
I slice it against my hand dripping it into the cup.
Jason grabs my hand healing the wound.
The pastor grabs the cup stirring it.
"Crystal!!" Jacob yells barging into the room.
I look over and see a gift and note on my Jacket.
I gently grab the note and open it.

Hey Jacob I understand why you didn't come I know I have pushed all of this on you too much. I just wanted to let you know that I'm letting you go. Whenever you are in danger push the gift and I'll be right there.

I gently grab the gift and open it. It was a bracelet.
"Now drink." The pastor says handing it back to Jason.
Jason sips it.
He passes it to me after.
I grab the cup and put it up to my lips sipping it.
The pastor grabs it after.
"You may kiss the bride." He says to me and Jason.
Jason pulls me closer and kisses me. I felt the power more stronger then ever. A bright light starts to appear around us.
"No no no no!" Jacob says running outside and approaches the wedding seeing me and Jason kissing.
People jump off the chairs and start clapping and shouting.
I pull away and smile at everyone noticing Jacob in the back of the crowd. He was holding the paper and gift in his hand.
I look away pretending not to see him.
He runs off.
"To Crystal our Ruler!!!" Jason says putting my arm in the air with his.
Me and Jason's powers were more heightened they were more powerful together.
"Crystal." He says rubbing my cheek.
"What?" I reply back.
"The redness of your eyes are gone." He says smiling.
"Really?!" I say excited.
I run to nearest mirror and look at my face. My eye color was back. I smile.
"Jacob!!" Sally says running after him.
"What?! What do you want?!" I stop looking at her annoyed.
"Jacob I'm sorry she got married." Sally says looking at me.
"It doesn't matter." I reply back holding the gift and paper close.
"Come on." Sally says interlocking her hand into hers.
I follow her.
"Crystal." Jason says standing behind me.
I turn around. "Yeah?" I say.
"Our people want to take back our castle that belonged to our parents long ago. The evil ones stay there and so does the leader so we were thinking if we could March there tomorrow." Jason says looking at me.
"Yeah of course we can do it early in the morning they won't see it coming." I say.
"Would you like to go on a walk with me?" He replies.
"Thanks for the offer but it's been a long day I think I'll stay home." I say walking away into the small house.
I close the door behind me and see Jacobs jacket still there. I gently grab it and hold it close to my chest. I fall onto the bed laying there not wanting to get up. It finally happened I'm married to Jason something that seemed so far away but in reality it was just in a matter of time.
