I couldn't help but laugh when I saw her run away in such a hurry—she almost tripped. Shaking my head, I glanced at the shoe she had thrown at me. I picked it up calmly and turned towards her friend, who was now looking at her too.

I was about to approach her friend when two other girls came over first. I paused and observed them. One of them glanced at me, and I felt a chill run down my spine just from that look. She's scary.

They all turned to look at me, so I quickly composed myself and tried to act calm. I don't know why, but those two had me feeling a bit intimidated.

As I got closer, I handed over the shoe I was holding. She seemed stunned and didn't know what was going on. I chuckled and moved a bit closer to her. She immediately backed away, making me laugh again. Her friends were watching me with puzzled expressions like I was the weirdest person they'd ever seen. I cleared my throat and leaned in close to her ear.

"Tell your friend to talk to me later," I whispered. She didn't respond, so I just laughed and straightened up. I glanced at her two friends, who were now standing and just staring. One looked like she couldn't care less, just observing quietly. I nodded at them. One of them glared at me even harder, while the other one acted like she didn't even notice. I just raised my eyebrow and turned back to Aki, who was now staring at me.

I smiled at her and she smiled back. I didn't wait for her to say anything, just turned around and headed to my room.

I was in a good mood for the rest of the class. When my friend came over, he quickly patted me on the shoulder and draped his arm around me. I just smiled and laughed.

"You didn't tell me you had a girlfriend! And it's your first month anniversary already!" He pouted. "So, can I have Yunah then?" he joked, laughing.

"You can have her if you want," I replied with a laugh, shrugging his arm off me. "Besides, when have we ever been close?" I asked, pretending to be annoyed.

Connie's a good guy. He's always talking to me, and he sits right behind me in class. He's always pestering me to go out and flirt with girls, saying I'm wasting my good looks. Yunah is in the other section. She's apparently the most popular and the prettiest girl around—or so they say. I don't see it. To me, she looks just average. Most of the guys in our building have a crush on her. Connie says she likes me, but I haven't really given her much attention since she's not my type.

"Oh, come on! What are you, an introvert? Dude, make some friends!" he complained. I just smirked, fixed my bag, and got ready to leave the classroom when someone blocked my way.
