Monday. It's been a week since I gave that girl, Lee, some flowers. Honestly, I don't really know what I'm doing. Every single day this week, I've been sending flowers to her desk. I know she keeps throwing them away, but I just can't seem to stop. I just hope she won't find it weird.
I do regret spending all this money on flowers, but the moment I think it's for her, all those regrets disappear. I'm probably falling for her hard.
Today, I'm more excited to go to school than usual. Before heading to campus, I stopped by the flower shop to get her my favorite, red roses.
As soon as I arrived at school, Connie came up to me, already talking non-stop. It's still early, and he's already full of energy. I don't think this guy ever runs out of topics to talk about.
We've become pretty close over the past week. He's even been delivering the flowers to Lee for me. I know her full name now, but I still like calling her Lee. I use her last name when I'm talking to someone else about her, but when I talk to her face-to-face, it's always Yuki.
People at school haven't stopped talking about us since I started sending her flowers. Yunah didn't believe it at first. I caught her arguing with another girl who tried to tell her I had a girlfriend, and Yunah was insisting it wasn't true.
When I got to class, I just quietly listened to the teacher. I'm in a good mood because I'm actually starting to understand the topics we're discussing, unlike before when I was completely lost. I feel like I have a little inspiration now, maybe from what Tito said about my father, and I'm starting to take more interest in who he is.
I'm thinking of looking for information about him and his family starting next week. Part of me still wants to meet him, even if he doesn't know I exist.
The rest of the day went by smoothly. I was engaged in class and answered the quizzes correctly. I was smiling as I packed up to leave, and Connie was looking at me with a furrowed brow like he was analyzing my smile.
"Did she say yes?" he teased, grinning. I frowned and quickly zipped up my bag. "Oh, right, you said not yet." He laughed. I shot him a glare, but he just raised his hands in mock surrender.
We both turned when we saw students rushing toward the next building. It seemed like they were in a hurry to see something. Connie, being the gossip he is, immediately follows them.
I was about to head home, but Connie grabbed my arm and pulled me along to the other building.
I shook off his hand before we even got there, making him stop and stomp his foot like a kid.
