Jungkook's Pov:-
I pulled away from Jane's lips and she softly smiled at me.
"Thank you for the ride sweetie, have a good night. Drive safely back home." I opened the door of Jane's car to exit.
"When are you finally breaking up with your girlfriend?" She asked me right before I could exit, so I stopped.
I sighed when she asked the same question that she had been asking for months. "When I find a reason to."
"Am I not enough of a reason?" She asked in a very desperate voice. I fully turned around so I was directly facing her.
"Jane, I'm not going to break the heart of the woman who was with me through everything. And did I not make it clear that this," I indicated between her and me "is not worth even half of what I have with Munhee?" I could literally see her soul breaking through her eyes but what we did was wrong. I wasn't going to break Munhee's heart just because I was not faithful.
And I did not want to break Jane's heart either and that was why I made things clear. That sleeping with Jane that night was just a drunk mistake.
But part of me also realised that sleeping with her again and again were not drunk mistakes but because I was simply unfaithful.
I put in my access card to enter our apartment with a weary expression. Munhee was sitting on our couch, staring at the tv.
"Hey, had an important meeting with Dad because I was showing him my company's shareholders' list." I told her with a nervous voice, hoping she'd believe me for the nth time.
"Hm." Without even looking back at me.
I turned to face her, who was still staring at the tv. "What's wrong Baby?"
"Mm? Oh, nothing." She replied in a faint voice.
I grabbed a towel to dry off my hair as I got out of a warm shower. On my way to our bedroom, I noticed that Munhee was standing in front of the laundry machine for too long. I knitted my eyebrows together as I stepped towards her, and my eyes widened when I realised that she was staring at a shirt of mine. With a crimson red lipstick mark on it.
But what surprised me the most was that all she did was ball the collar of the shirt in her fists before she rolled it and threw it inside the machine. That was not how a person should've reacted.
When Munhee entered our bedroom, I unconsciously curled up against the mattress with my back towards her side of the bed because I couldn't face her. I admit, I was guilty of what I was doing but knowing that Munhee knew what I was doing made me feel ten times more guilty.
But I was not going to continue being disloyal. I was committed to Munhee and I was going to continue being so. I was going to come out clean.

I broke things off with Jane, saying that I was taken.
Okay, I did expect Tae Hyung and the others to be surprised. Others were surprised when I told them that I was going to propose Munhee, but the look on Tae Hyung's face had something more than just surprise and I couldn't decipher it. I was happy, but just for a split second. Until the call from the hospital came.
"Hyung..." I called Tae Hyung after the doctor left. He lifted his eyes from the floor to meet my eyes. Th-this is my fault. This is my fault. Hyung..." My eyes filled up with hot tears upto rim.
"Why?"
"Because I was cheating on her. And she knew that." He cocked up his eyebrows in a strange manner.
"How did you know?"
"Because I've seen her wash away lipstick marks from my shirt's collars, ignoring my dirty doings. She doesn't know, but I know that she was preparing to leave me. I'd have left earlier if I was in her place." I confessed as my head hung low in shame.
"And what makes you think that she was still with you?" I abruptly lifted my head, surprised at what he said.
"Huh? What do you mean?" I pulled my eyebrows together.
"Jungkook, she was just staying with you. Her heart was not with you anymore, she had already left. Her heart was with me, I was there with her when you were busy kissing another girl. And I'm not even afraid to admit anything, so do what you want to do about it. But honestly? You're sick." He finished, and my limbs froze. My heartbeat started running, as I stared at him.
"S-She was... cheating on me with you...?
"Mhm. But you broke her heart first, remember?" His voice was laced with poison. I lowered my head and nodded. Of course, who was I to be upset at Munhee when I was no saint either?
"But Hyung it was a mistake that I'm willing to rectify! But I can't believe that even you-" My very loud voice was interrupted by a nurse.
"Mr. Jeon and Mr. Kim? The patient has woken up."
I couldn't move, even though I wanted to follow Tae Hyung into the operation room. Hyung stopped and turned around when he realised that I was not following him. "Jungkook? You're not coming?"
I shook my head with my head still down. "No, I'm not. She's all yours anyway. I can't face her." I replied in a low and defeated voice.
Guilt, anger, shame, jealousy and every other feeling filled me up. I ran upstairs to the rooftop. I was out of air, and it felt like someone was choking me. People stared at me as I ran through the corridor, but I didn't care. When I reached the rooftop, I ran towards the edge as I gripped onto the railings for support.
"AHHHHHHHH! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I pulled my hair and screamed into the thin and empty air, hoping that no one would come.
What is it that I supposed to do to reverse everything and turn back time?
