"Kim Taehyung" I hummed.
"Kim Taehyung... that name sounds familiar. What's he like?" I asked Yoongi.
"He's well... intimidating. Like really cold, and remember the time when I beat the shit out of Sungho? Yeah, Taehyung was with us too."
"Really?" He nodded.
"What kind of lawyer is he?" He got up from the floor as he turned behind to grab the coffee from table, and then handed it to me.
"One of the top ten lawyers in the country. The best. The king of court and a beast in the consultation room."
"Okay. Thank you Yoongi, I don't know what I'd do without you." I said is an off tone.
"Hey, I'm your best friend, am I not? I'll always be here for you, whether you're wrong or right, I'll never judge you." He said as he disappeared in one of the rooms.
I sighed in silence as I sipped on the coffee. In about a minute, he came out with a bunch of clothes in his hands.
"Munhee? Since I know that you're not carrying any clothes with you, these are the smallest clothes of mine that I could find in my closet. These would probably last for a week." He said as he scanned through the clothes. I managed to murmur a quick thank you.
"And Munhee... When is the...?" He decided that it was better if he did not complete the sentence.
"2 days from now." He nodded before he went to the kitchen to probably prepare dinner for the two of us.

I put on the black dress I had bought the previous day, for attending the funeral of someone I couldn't have imagined to die so early. I fixed my hair in a bun. I couldn't help but ignore my saddening self as I stared at my reflection in the mirror. I hadn't slept in like 48 hours, but it was not the tiredness that was bothering me, it was the hole in my heart that was the criminal.
I was deep in my thoughts when Yoongi softly knocked on the already open door. "You done?" He asked in a low voice.
I turned my head to look at him, and I slightly nodded. He was wearing a black suit which was complimentig his hair colour.
"Let's go." He said as I walked towards him and held the arm he had laid out for me to grab. A taxi was waiting for us outside, so as soon as we exited Yoongi's apartment, we settled down in the vehicle.
"Would you mind having a meeting with Taehyung tomorrow?" Yoongi softly asked me, and I was staring outside the window with blank eyes.
"No, not at all. The sooner I meet him, the better." He simply hummed and the vehicle again got surrounded by silence.
We reached the Church, with a trail of people dressed in black outside. I was immensely shivering at the sight, but Yoongi placed a comforting hand on mine which somehow calmed me down.
I stepped outside the vehicle and tried to avoid the sight of the Church as long as I could.
"I'm right here. Go ahead." Yoongi gave me a gentle push as I intertwined my fingers with his. I slowly and with a heavy heart stepped on the stairs.
The gallery, even though it was full of brightness, could not help the darkness that was laid out in front of my eyes. I walked through the aisle with the pairs of eyes on me, but my eyes focused on the coffin placed on the bier, in the centre of the nave. I entered a row of seats and sat down with Yoongi beside me. Mom and Dad were in the first seats, but I didn't want to sit in the first row.
Both of them turned to face me, but instead of an emotional or sympathetic look, I could only see them glare at me.
"Yoongi..." I looked at Yoongi who hummed.
"Mom and Dad are glaring at me." He slided his eyes towards where my parents were sitting and shot an even deadlier glare.
"Problem solved." I softly smiled at his light humour.
The rituals went on, and it broke my heart even more when it was time for me to go up to the coffin and whisper a parting goodbye.

"Can you try not to sulk? Please. Try to be a little positive if you're meeting Taehyung, because he himself is a box of negativity."
"Really?" I asked him as he steered the wheel. He glanced at me once before dedicating his full attention to the road.
"Just don't feel bad about anything he says... He's a little rough on the tongue, but he's more or less like you and me." Yoongi said as he parked outside a firm.
"Okay. Will you be there with me?" I asked him as we were still sitting in our seats.
"Oh no honey, you'll be in the torture chamber aka the consultation room. I wouldn't like to be in there if the Kim Taehyung is there." I nodded, and wondered what type of person this Mr. Kim really was like. I mean, he couldn't be possibly that rough right?
I waited inside the consultation room for a few minutes before the door creaked open. A really, I mean really handsome man came inside with a bunch of documents tucked under his arm. He seemed to be in a hurry.
The hair was dishevelled, and were slightly falling in front of his eyes, kind of blocking his vision. He in no way seemed kind, as I muttered a good morning, earning no reaction.
Well, that was rude.
He quickly pulled a chair from a corner of the room and sat down in front of me, and next he pulled out a pen from his pocket to sign one of the documents.
"Ms. Lee, I assume?" I nodded.
"What's the issue?" He asked with a tone colder than ice. For next few minutes I narrated everything that had happened in the past 3 days.
How my brother who also happened to be my best friend died, how our bond was strong enough to overcome death. How I discovered that I had been living with a family that wasn't mine in the first place.
"Oh, you're Yoongi Hyung's companion?" Mr. Kim asked monotonously as he still continued signing the hell out of the papers.
"Yes, I am." I replied softly, but it was loud enough to be creating a distant noise in the empty and silent consultation room.
"Are you sure that I should trust you?" My lawyer asked coldly, with his eyes glued to the papers while signing.
"Of course, Sir. I'm not lying so please, trust me. I loved my brother, I can never kill him-"
"Save it. I've heard that before. Now, let's discuss about how I should prove you innocent, despite of the fact that you're not." My lawyer said as he raised his head and looked into my eyes with disgust.
