"Ms. Lee, I need you in my office right now." Mr. Choi summoned me to his office through the landline. I didn't know that the boss could communicate with the first grade employees. Being the first grade employee, it was usually not easy to get close to Mr. Choi, at least that's what I had thought. But suprisingly, I get called to Mr. Choi almost every hour, and that was unusual for a magazine column editor. Nonetheless, I stood up and made my way towards the better furnished office.
"You called me, Mr. Choi?" I opened the door and peeked my head inside. Mr. Choi looked up from his paperwork and his lips twisted up as he nodded.
"Ah. Yes, Ms. Lee. How many columns are done yet?" He asked and I tried to recollect it from my memory.
"3 and a half, sir." I answered.
"Okay. Well, complete the other half and submit to me, and another thing, I thought I had asked you to call me San?" He said as he again lowered his head onto his papers again.
"I'm sorry, San. I'll be going." San raised his head and his eyes scrunched as he smiled. What a creep.
At least this time he did not try to touch me. Last week, when I had gone to his office for submission, I don't know if it was unintentional or not, but his hands definitely brushed against my hip. I remember jolting back, as he apologised. This guy definitely seemed like a pervert to me, at least from the way he smiles at me.
And Hobi Oppa, I finally had found out that he was a janitor at the office. You know the kind of janitor who smiles and hums while working and wishes everyone a good morning? Yeah, that one. He was definitely the brightest person I knew. And everytime I would see him, he would give me a smile which he'd give to everyone, to keep his cover alive.
I had been working vigorously, day and night, and I expect a promotion to the 2nd star in a month or so, that's what San had told me. He actually seemed quite impressed with my editing skills. Good, I can only hope that everything goes according to our little plan. If Choi San had anything to do with Sungho's death, I sure as hell wasn't going to leave him alive, even if it meant going to jail for me.

"Wow. Mr. Choi actually likes you a lot. I mean, the constant trips to his office..." I cut Hobi Oppa off.
"No, it's nothing like that. I am actually working my ass off, and I think I deserve a promotion. In the next four-five months, I may even get promoted to the third star office. And I-" Taehyung hummed, but it was kind of like a no.
"I don't think so, Munhee. I did a little research and I found out that it takes at least two years for a single promotion. I know that you're working hard, but I still don't think that the promotion your expecting next month is possible. Are you sure that he doesn't know about you being Sungho's sister?" Taehyung, who was sitting opposite to me, raised his eyes from his tablet and wiggled his eyebrows. I pulled out my lower lip and shaked my head.
"I mean, I don't think that he knows about me, because if he did, maybe I'd understand. On the contrast, he seems friendly, a little too friendly..." I mumbled as I noticed that both Taehyung and Hobi Oppa turned to look at me, with the most attentive pairs of eyes.
"Wha- Huh? What type of friendliness do you mean...?" Taehyung asked, and emphasised each word.
"I mean, he touches me sometimes, most of the times it seems unintentional, but just let it go..." I picked my fingers and looked down at my lap as I heard Hobi Oppa take in a sharp breath.
"Munhee, why didn't you tell me that before? That he was being-"
"It-It's alright. You know, that's maybe common between employees and employers...?" I tried to avoid the topic into escalating into something big.
"No Munhee it's not-"
"Hobi Hyung, she said to let it go. Don't bother much about it." Taehyung spoke up with a serious facade. I looked at Hobi Oppa, who had opened his mouth, but decided to keep it down.
I sighed as the session ended, and I grabbed my clutch, and stood up to leave the office. I walked over to the door, and held the door open as I turned around to see that he did not get up.
"Are you not coming?" I asked Oppa.
"No, I need him for awhile. You can go." Taehyung blinked his eyes effectively, and I raised my eyebrows in confusion, but nodded anyways before leaving.

"Do you really want to know about your parents...?" Yoongi asked me as I sucked in a deep breath and nodded.
"I do. I'm going to contact the Korean Administration's adoption wing. I need to find out about my parents. I'm sure they'd help me." I said with a shaky voice, trying to sound confident.
"But how would you find out about them? I mean, I'm sure you don't know their names." He made sense and yet I was determined.
"Let's see." I said as I placed my laptop on my lap, as I scrolled through search engines. I went to the government's website, specifically the adoption site. I realized that I needed to punch in my birthdate, my adoptive parent's names, and my place of birth before we moved onto the next step. I filled in all the required details, as the next page occurred in front of my eyes. They needed my documents next, so I was asked to contact a government employee and submit them. I raised my head and looked at Yoongi, who was looking at me as well. He took in a breath.
"I-I'll contact the government, and in the meantime, please prepare your documents, I'm sure you have them?" Yoongi said with a deep voice and I gulped.
"I'll do that. And Yoongi...?"
"Hm?"
"Thank you." Yoongi smiled and flashed his cute gums as he caressed my hair,
"Anything for you."
Suddenly, my phone went off. I picked it up, to see Jungkook's name being flashed on the screen. I gulped and licked my lower lip as I glanced at Yoongi, who had a bitch face on, definitely teasing me.
"Hey."
"Hey. I hope I'm not interrupting anything?" Jungkook asked.
"No, not at all." I chuckled.
"I was wondering if you were free tonight? Um I-"
"Yes...?"
"I would..."
"Mhm?"
"Would-"
"Do you plan on continuing any further?"
"If you-" Now he was getting on my nerves.
"Jungkook!" I yelled humorously.
"I WAS WONDERING IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GO OUT WITH ME TONIGHT!" Jungkook shouted back the much awaited sentence, and I giggled.
"Gee lemme think." I teased.
"Oh um- You don't have to if you-"
"Yes, I'd love to go out with you. I was just messing with you." I said as he sighed in relief.
I put my phone down as I looked back at Yoongi who had his eyebrows raised, mouth open at a side, and looked at me with a disgusted look.
"What's wrong?"
"Not much, just the fact that you got asked out. Just saying." Yoongi shrugged as I glared at him.
"Yah! What do you mean? That I can't get asked out? Am I that horrible? You're the disgusting one out of the two of us!" I pointed a finger at him, as he shrugged and raised both of his hands.
"Whatever keeps you happy honey, whatever keeps you happy." Yoongi patted my head as he got up and walked away.
