"It's okay, don't be nervous!" Oppa said.
I looked up at him trying to pull me towards the front door of his house. My Mom's house.
"Wh-who's nervous? I'm not!" I faked a laugh, nervousness clear in me.
"Mhm..." He again pulled at my wrist, and I was stalling it with my feet as my support.
"Come on!" He again ranted. I shook my head.
"Let's come back tomorrow." I grinned and released my hand from his grip.
He groaned once, before rolling his eyes away from me, and starting to walk towards the main door with the cosy entrance.
My feet froze to the floor, and I embraced my arms around myself, preparing myself for whatever was going to happen.
Ding dong
He rang the doorbell, and turned his head to me, with a mischievous look on his face.
"Jin you have the ke-" An elderly, but equally beautiful woman stood in front of us, looking directly at me.
I looked back at Jin Oppa, who bowed in a ninety degree towards the woman. I managed to put up a smile and bowed as well towards the stunned lady.
"Oppa, is she..." He chuckled and nodded. I again tore my gaze from him, and looked at the woman with tears brimming up.
Sad...? Happy...? Overwhelmed...? Scared...? Which one was I feeling? Or was I feeling all of these?
"Mom she is-"
"I'm Munhee, Lee Munhee. Nice to meet you." I introduced myself with a lower than usual voice.
"I'm Jin's Mom. But why are you crying, child?" I opened my mouth to reply, but Oppa beat me to it.
"Mom, let's talk once we get inside." All of us agreed as I entered their house.

"What?" She said in a bare whisper, as she stared at me with a colourless face and I gulped.
"Look ma'am, I don't know why you uh- gave me up for adoption, or if you're happy to see me here, I promise that I won't interfere with your family matters-"
"Shut up come here girl!" She screamed at me with a broken voice, but with a painful smile.
I went down on my knees and crawled towards her, with my tears falling on the floor. I was bitterly crying, and so were Oppa and Mom.
As soon as I reached her, she engulfed me in a hug, the comforting one. My tears became unstoppable for the both of us, as I hugged her back.
"Munhee, my daughter- you have no idea, how long I've searched for you. How much I've regretted giving you up, every single night. I won't blame you if you despise me now, no, I won't. But my heart wouldn't be at ease if I don't tell you why I did that." Mrs. Kim whispered as her tears fells upon my face. I buried my face in her chest, crying my heart out.
"No, Mrs. Kim, I don't despise you. I thought that I did, but I don't. How can I? You're my... mother. And he's my brother. All that hatred vanished away as soon as I hugged you. And so, I don't hate you." I whispered.
"No, Munhee. Call me Mom, I've been longing to hear you call me Mom for so long now."
"Mom..." I cried out again, as she hugged me even tighter.
"Your father. He wasn't the best man around. He was having an... affair. Yes, your father cheated on me. But I couldn't come to tell him, because when I found out about his disloyalty, you were already in my womb. I knew that he'd either harm me, or walk away. I wanted you guys to have a good future. So, I kept it shut." He paused to take in a deep breath, as me and Oppa listened to her intently.
"All the text messages at night, the lipstick marks on his shirts and the hickeys on his neck- I tolerated everything. To the point where I even refused to speak up when he spent the night with another woman right in our bedroom. Because Jin was too young to understand anything and you were not born yet. I thought that after your birth, he'd come around and mend his ways. And after you were born, he became even more numb towards my feelings. It felt like he was only with us for money. Tell me, how was I supposed to raise two children when their father was not around?" She asked me, and I looked down.
"Is that why you did that to me?" She shaked her head.
"No. That'd be selfish of me. When things got a little out of hand, I finally confronted him. And you know what he told me? That he knew how I was the one cheating on him, and that you were not even his child. He was suspecting me to be sleeping with one of my colleagues. What else was I supposed to do? He even refused to get a dna test when I asked him to prove my point." She sobbed harder, and I raised myself to hug her.
"Mom, I- I understand. I'm sorry because I was the problem. I'm sorry for suddenly appearing in your picture out of nowhere." I whispered.
"No honey, why should you be sorry? You were not the problem, your father was. And he's not around anymore."
"I know, and I know that you used to love me so much." I grinned at my nonexistent memory.
At this, Mom released me. I looked up at her, who studied my face ever so seriously.
"Munhee, when did I even stop loving you? You were always in my thoughts. And I'm glad that I finally have you in my arms. Both you and Jin. I love you, now and forever." Mom whispered the last part.
"Yah, but Mom, isn't she beautiful, just like you and me?" Jin Oppa spoke up from behind.
"Yes, she is. More than you, but less than me." We chuckled at this, as Jin Oppa rubbed my back.
"Tell me, where do you live child?" She asked me as I went back towards the couch.
"I live in the 13th block." I replied.
"I tell you what- why don't you move in with us? I'll prepare your room upstairs, that I had originally prepared for you." Mom suggested.
"Um, as tempting as it sounds, I'll have to refuse. I've just bought my apartment, and it'd be waste of money if I ditch it." I joked and all of us chuckled.
"Oh and Jin told me about your previous family. Honey, I am so sorry that you had to go through it."
"No Mom, I'm over that now. After all, I just found my own family, my own safe haven." I winked at Mom.
