046- SANCTION AT THE HEAVENLY THRESHOLD

The games already started about four hours ago and are currently in the third section of the Gymnic Part which is the Hippios, a 710-meter foot race at the Nemean track and Niles is currently dealing with it.
The first two games earlier were also foot races that had shorter distances but since it involved running, our most compatible players were Niles and Arcane, given that they're the fastest runners among the eight of us.
There were actually five different foot races in the Gymnic Part. Four of them varied in distances while the last one had a different twist from the other four races. Si Rios naman ang sasali dun mamaya.
The first two foot races of the Gymnic is the Stadion which had a 178-meter distance kung saan nanalo si Niles kanina, and the Diaulos that Arcane also won earlier with a distance of 355 meters.
We already secured two wins so far and by the way things are looking right now, seems like we'll be moving up to three secured consecutive wins in total. That douchebag Niles won't lose for sure since that'll surely bruise his ego, being the scion of the goddess of victory, Nike herself.
Arcane was the one who decided the events which we'll be playing for the Nemean Games. Halatang pinag-isipan niya kung saang section kami ilalagay kaya hindi na ako nakipagtalo pa. That asshole's got an arrogant side too and I can even sense Kria getting irritated with him from time to time since our arrival here in Nemea.
"Looks like you're up next, son of Hermes.", I heard Aeodysus address Arcane na kanina pa pala nakatitig sa gawi nina Theo at Kria na nag-uusap ngayon. Parang nabalik lang siya sa huwisyo nang marinig si Aeo. My brows immediately creased by the way he's acting.
Kria instantly tended to Niles nang makabalik ito matapos yung race. Maya-maya pa ay biglang tumabi sakin si Aeodysus.
"I really don't trust that Arcadian guy. Kanina pa tingin nang tingin sa gawi nina Kria.", bulong nito kaya napabaling ako sa kanya. So he noticed that too, huh?
"Keep your guard up at all times. He might be up to something. Tell Rios and Niles that I said so too.", I asked Aeo as he nodded in response bago lumapit sa gawi nung dalawa. Naglakad naman ako palapit kay Kai who's currently fixing his gloves.
"You're not gonna do something about it?", diretsong tanong ko sa kanya kaya napatigil ito sa ginagawa at napaangat ng tingin sakin as he glared at me.
"What in Hades are you talking about?", I hissed at his response.
"Playing dumb now, are we? You know I'm talking about Theo and Kria.", sa sinabi kong iyon ay pansin ko ang pagkuyom niya ng mga kamao niya. His jaw clenched as his sharp gaze remained on me.
"It's their problem. What do you want me to do? Break them apart?", pilosopong sagot nito, giving me a snarl kaya napailing nalang ako.
"But you like her, don't you?", I seriously asked him. I noticed how he stopped at my question.
Ilang sandaling katahimikan ang namayani sa pagitan namin hanggang sa magsalita ulit siya...
"I've... I've never had a sister before.", my eyes widened in awe and confusion from his words.
Nagtaka ako nang bigla siyang tumayo mula sa inuupuan niya as he threw a dangerous stare at my direction before turning his back on me. I tried to stop him...
