016- THE ADAMANTINE WEAPON
"Back off, son of Eris. This one's taken.", my eyes widened when I saw Theo na nakatayo sa likuran ko. Kaagad niya akong hinigit palapit sa kanya as he held my hand tightly. Pansin ko ang pagbaling ng tingin dun ni Yander as his expression changed.
"Dude, are you blind? Your girlfriend was the one who approached me earlier. I was just kind enough to offer her a great deal.", may halong pang-aasar sa tono ni Yander as he smirked at Theo who only hissed beside me.
"She's not my girlfriend. And your offer is bullsh*t.", he fired back at Yander, dahilan para mapatawa ito as he gestured at me.
"Oh? Yun naman pala! Hindi mo pala girlfriend eh. Why don't you go mind your own business---head to Olympus and, cry to your daddy or something.", sa sinabing iyon ni Yander at binitawan ako ni Theo as bolts of electricity suddenly appeared on his right arm kasabay nang pagdilim ng buong langit as thunderclouds began to encircle just above the whole academy.
"When I'm done with you, you'd end up regretting being the son of the goddess of strife, discord, and chaos.", madilim na banta ni Theo sa harapan ni Yander na ngayon ay seryoso narin ang ekspresyon. Napaatras ako palayo sa kanilang dalawa.
"Oh, what's this? You already have the guts to cause a scene here in the academy just because you're not the Polemarchos anymore?", pang-aasar pa ni Yander kay Theo as I saw him smirk at tsaka niya ito sinagot...
"You were the one who wanted to play this game. I'll gladly give it to you, son of Eris.", Theo's voice grew darker. Isa-isa naring nagsilabasan ang mga estudyante sa iba't-ibang class para manood sa dalawa at naramdaman ko nalang bigla na may humawak sa isang kamay ko sabay higit sakin palayo dun.
"It's best to back-off for now.", nagulat ako nang makitang si Kai iyon as he led me near the building na pinanggalingan namin habang naghihintay narin samin dun ang ibang members ng class Primarius. They all had concerned expressions all-over their face habang nakatingin din kina Theo at Yander doon sa gitna ng field na nagsusukatan ng titig.
"Kria! What happened? Bakit nag-aaway yung dalawang yun?", bungad kaagad nina Sev sakin nang mahigit na ako ni Kai palapit sa kanila. Hindi ako nakasagot and instead ay tulala akong bumaling sa kinaroroonan nina Theo.
"Sev, you're the new Polemarchos. Stop them.", I uttered as I turned my gaze towards Sev na nasa tabi ko. He was only staring at the two on the field at halos malaglag ang panga ko nang makita ang pag-iling niya.
"Their punishment will come afterwards.", he just trailed off as my eyes widened sabay turo kina Theo at Yander dun sa gitna.
"But Sev they're about to---"
"Alright, I'll play the game. And I want the girl in exchange.", natigilan ang lahat sa sinabi ni Yander as the whole class Primarius turned their faces towards me with a shocked expression.
"Ikaw ba ang tinutukoy nung new guy, Kria?", gulat na tanong ni Prim sakin. Mabilis akong umiling hanggang sa bigla nalang sumingit yung Eureca, the other new girl na katabi ngayon sina Clea at yung isa pang lalaki na si Niles.
"Elliander's definitely talking about her. You're the daughter of Hecate right? The guy's literally head over heels for you.", ilang mura ang pinakawalan ko sa narinig mula dun kay Eureca as I saw how Clea and that other guy, Niles agreed with her while they were staring at me. Ngayon ko pa nga lang nakilala yang Yander na yan eh!
