MUST READ THIS WARNING!
Note:
This story has not yet been completely revised or edited by the author, so expect typographical errors, misspelled words, and grammar inconsistencies in some chapters that I may have overlooked.
Still, if you can bear with them, I would be deeply grateful for your utmost patience and understanding.
I'm slowly editing this while writing new updates. Thank you for enduring! <3
This work draws inspiration from the diverse characters, places, and stories of Greek mythology, so expect to uncover more about them as the plot unfolds. Be advised that readers unfamiliar with the vast list of Greek deities may find some aspects confusing. However, worry not, for I will provide guides and additional information in certain chapters or updates to help illuminate the mythological references. While some details in this story are rooted in actual Greek mythology, others are purely a creation of the author's imagination.
Just to clarify, Greek mythology has multiple versions of its myths, as seen in works like Theogony, Metamorphoses, Aeneid, Iliad, and Odyssey, to name a few. Various writers, including Homer, Hesiod, Pindar, Ovid, Apuleius, Virgil, Apollodorus, Apollonius, and Statius, each had their own interpretations of these stories. Fortunately, I have gathered pieces of information from different versions of the myths and incorporated them into this story.
I am also an avid fan of the renowned American author Rick Riordan, the brilliant mind behind The Percy Jackson Series, The Heroes of Olympus Series, and The Trials of Apollo Series. I truly admire him for his inspiring masterpieces centered around Greek mythology, as well as his other works exploring different mythologies, such as The Kane Chronicles for Egyptian mythology and Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard for Norse mythology.
Reading his works inspired me to write this, and this is my first time creating a story set in the wonderfully complex world of Greek mythology. It’s a challenging and difficult endeavor, so I ask for your patience with my amateur writing skills on this one.
Also, if you’re a perfectionist, this might not be for you. I’m still learning and improving, so consider this a friendly disclaimer---my writing is pretty mediocre, LOL. But feel free to ask questions!
I dedicate this work to my little sister, my soul sister, and my two best friends who share my love for Greek mythology. They were the ones who encouraged and inspired me to write and continue this story, even when I struggled with the plot---this is for you guys!
If some readers find themselves disliking or feeling offended by this story, I suggest dropping it right away if it’s not your cup of tea. However, if you find yourself intrigued, then be my guest and read on!
Feel free to judge and share your thoughts, but please remember the value of respect and know your limitations.
Thank you, and may the gods of Olympus guide you on your journey :)
