Achilles
- was the strongest warrior and hero in the Greek army during the Trojan War. He was the son of Peleus, king of the Myrmidons, and Thetis, a sea nymph.

Alexander the Great
- Alexander III of Macedon, commonly known as Alexander the Great, was a king of the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedon and a member of the Argead dynasty.

Apple of Discord
- was a golden apple inscribed "for the fairest" thrown by Eris, goddess of discord, into a banquet she was not invited to that caused discord among the gods.

Catoblepas
- is a legendary creature from Ethiopia, first described by Pliny the Elder and later by Claudius Aelianus. It is said to resemble a cape buffalo, with its head always pointing downwards due to its great weight.

Capitoline Triad of Deities
was a group of three deities who were worshipped in ancient Roman religion in an elaborate temple on Rome's Capitoline Hill. It comprised Jupiter, Juno and Minerva. The triad held a central place in the public religion of Rome

- the commander of a century in the ancient Roman army.

Cetus
- was the sea monster that was sent by Poseidon to devour Andromeda, daughter of King Cepheus of Ethiopia.

- was held to be the superlative centaur amongst his brethren since he was called the "wisest and justest of all the centaurs".

Cretan Bulls
- was the bull Pasiphaë fell in love with, giving birth to the Minotaur.

Hippocampus
-  were the fish-tailed horses of the sea. They were depicted as composite creatures with the head and fore-parts of a horse and the serpentine-tail of a fish.

Legatus Legionis
- was a high-ranking Roman military officer in the Roman Army, equivalent to a modern high-ranking general officer.

Nereid
- are sea nymphs, the 50 daughters of Nereus and Doris, sisters to their brother Nerites.

Nemean Lion
- was a legendary creature in Greek mythology that ravaged the area of Nemea. Its fur was impenetrable by the weapons of humans and hence, was unstoppable. It was considered to be the child of Typhon and Echidna, father and mother of all monsters.

Omphalos
- is the very stone that the Titan Rhea gave the Titan Cronos to swallow instead of the newly born Zeus.

Philyra
- was one of the Oceanids, daughters of Oceanus and Tethys.

Praetor
- each of two ancient Roman magistrates ranking below consul.

Pythia
- was the priestess who held court at Pytho, the sanctuary of the Delphinians, a sanctuary dedicated to the Greek god Apollo.

Shade
- is the spirit or ghost of a dead person, residing in the underworld.

Talaria of Mercury
- The Winged Sandals of Hermes

Temple of Apollo
- occupied the most important and prominent position in the Delphic Panhellenic Sanctuary. The edifice with the partially restored colonnade visible today dates to the 4th century BC; it is the third temple built at the same place.

Temple of Heraion
- is an ancient Archaic Greek temple at Olympia, Greece, that was dedicated to Hera, queen of the Greek Gods.

Temple of Zeus
- sanctuary of Zeus is located in the town of Nemea, which is in the northeastern part of the Peloponnese, in Greece.
