Lorena looked at her grandmother after practically dragging her feet towards her, clearly unamused about going forward with more auditions. She knew she wanted to be there to make sure they were picking the best of the best in this country, but she just couldn't shake the thought of Ross out of her mind.

Could you blame her? I mean, what was that?

"Abuela, is it alright if I join you later?" Lorena asked as she tried to convince her grandmother with her grey eyes.

Isabel brought her glasses down to her nose as she crossed her arms over one another. "And miss the rest of the auditions? For my birthday?"

Lorena sighed. She could hear r5 and Benji on their way out and back into the castle as they were chatting behind her. "I'm sorry, grandmother. I'll be back as soon as possible. I'm just not feeling well right now," the young princess lied, hoping the queen wouldn't catch on.

"Fine. I suppose your mother can fill in for the mean time." Isabel brushed this off and continued to overlook the clipboard information. "Now go on, every minute counts."

Lorena gave her grandmother a kiss on the cheek before rushing into the castle to begin her search for Ross. She looked everywhere around the castle. Her mind kept wandering over if he was alright or not and whatever it was that Benji was trying to get at.

"Ross?" Lorena loudly whispered throughout the hallway on her bedroom floor. "Ross!"

She scurried over to the other end of the hall, where she found Mateo in the guest room instead. He was talking on the phone and crying at the screen. "Babe, what do you mean?! I'm trying as much as I can. You know my grandfather is keeping me here."

Lorena knocked her painted fingernails onto the door, trying to get his attention but he continued to speak anyway. "Just give me one more month and I promise I'll figure out how to visit you in Portugal!"

She entered the room regardless, putting one hand on the door frame and peaking her curly head in. "Hey? Are you alright?"

Mateo looked her up and down with tears streaming down his face, "Not now, Lori."

Despite his request, she continued and walked into the room. Lori put a hand on his shoulder but he simply just flinched back and walked out of the room. "I said not now, Lori!"

The princess watched him leave the room as she wondered, "What the heck is going on with everyone today?"

She walked out the room, trying to see where he went until she noticed a familiar blonde mopping the floors in front of her bed room. Lorena rushed down the corridors and tried her best not to fall on the wet floor. "Hey!" She encouraged, hoping Ross would lift his attention onto her. "Are you alright? I could tell you were pretty upset over what went down a few minutes ago."

Ross lifted his head up in the opposite direction, watching as Mateo stormed off in the opposite direction. "What's up with him?" He scoffed, bringing his head back down to the wet floor.

"Mateo? I'm-I'm not sure. He didn't want to talk to me," She confessed with a small hint of disappointment in her tone. "Besides, I came up here looking for you."

Without adverting his attention, he continued to look down at the floor as he stated, "You left your grandmother, the queen, to come see if I was okay?"

"Of course," She nodded to him. Lorena placed her hands on top of his on the mop, finally getting him to look at her. "Come on, take a break. We can talk about it in my room if you'd like?"

The bags under his eyes were worse than before and his eyes gave out small hints of red, letting her know he was previously crying. He nodded and dragged the mop into her room, setting it on the wall while she closed the door behind her. He put his hands in his pockets and looked around the yellow room that he secretly was a fan of.
