Lorena and Ross walked hand-in-hand as they made their way back into the castle. Although the princess was rather happy and impressed with how this conversation came out, in this moment it was like as if every doubt had resurfaced back into her mind, and she was truly preoccupied with everything else she had to go back into.

"Can we go over the plan again, Ross? I really don't want to mess things up," She stressed, running her free hand down her dress nervously.

She felt his light eyes on her small body, looking down and waiting for her to regain eye contact with him. He sighed, knowing she must've really felt bad for Mateo in this moment. "Lori, it's going to be alright. You're going to go in there, apologize to everyone for leaving, even though they forced you to kiss your fake boyfriend who is secretly gay-"

"Ross..." She laughed, hitting his stomach softly. "Come on."

The blonde haired boy let out a deep breath while placing his hands on her shoulders. "Nevertheless, you're going to go in there and apologize to him, tell him you told me the truth, anddddddd it's up to you if you want to tell Benji or not."

She froze. Benji. Her mind was running all over the place about Mateo, her grandmother, and her mother, that she had completely forgotten about Benjamin. Her best friend. Well... pending best friend.

"You think I should tell Benji?" She asked, fidgeting her fingers around. "He hasn't talked to me in like forever, Ross. I mean, do you think he'll tell my mom?"

Ross furrowed his eyebrows at her statement, as Lorena immediately regretted saying that about him. She knew she could trust Benji, how could she go against that?

"You think he would do something like that, princess?" He questioned, scanning her blank face for any answers. "I know you two haven't talked in a while, but I don't think he's that mad at you."

Lorena took a small pause again, looking up at the boy in front of her. "Wait- he's mad at me?"

He shook his head rapidly, putting his hands up in surrender as he repeated, "Oh, no, no, no, no. That's not- He's not."

"So why would you say that, Ross? Has he been telling you anything?" She kept poking at this, begging for a truthful answer.

He sighed, putting his fingers in his front pockets. "He kinda... is. Just stupid reasonings between him and I. It was all about Mateo, but clearly we didn't know the truth. There may also be another reason why-" He admitted before she cut him off again.

"Another reason? What's the other reason? Benji doesn't like me too, does he?" She panicked, putting her hand to her forehead and letting a big breath out.

Ross laughed out loud, opening his eyes wide. "Oh god, no. No, definitely not."

She squinted at him, waiting for him to realize this.

"I mean, not because you're not someone to like. You're the prettiest girl I've ever seen, not to mention you are a princess and-" He stopped midway upon noticing the small smile that was creeping onto her face. "No, Lorena. He doesn't like you, but I clearly do."

She blushed, playfully rolling her eyes and letting her toes run through the field of grass around them. "Yeah, yeah. So what's the other reason?"

Lorena's grey eyes watched as his expression fell towards the ground. He walked side by side next to her, trying not to bump in or get into her way as he thought about how to answer this.

"Ross? What's wrong with Benji?" She asked, biting her lip.

He managed to walk up a few steps ahead of her, turning around and stopping to face her. "Look princess, I don't know exactly how to tell you this. I don't know if I should even be the person to tell you this, but I don't want there to be any more secrets between us."
