A few days later it seemed like Lorena was finally living the musician life she had always wanted to live. She had spent the last few days rehearsing and making music with all of her friends, some new and some old. The crew was even nice enough to let Mateo join in on all the fun. However, there was always one person missing.

Ross crept up behind the closed music room, fumbling his fingers along the sides of his jeans as he tried to force himself to not move or make any response to the music that was being played from the other side of the door.

His brown eyes watched as all of his siblings ,and the girl who he had become quite fond of, make music without him. He felt his disappointment rise up from the pit of his stomach, almost leading to the end of his throat, trying to crawl up and let out all the tears he wanted to let escape.

He couldn't believe it. He couldn't believe he was the one who just simply couldn't live this life with them. Ross just wasn't cut out for it, at least that's what the record label said, and he would be lying if he said that event didn't break his heart till this day.

Inside the room, Lorena rested her head on Mateo's thigh, as he caressed his fingers through her curly brown hair. "I'm surprised your mother hasn't come up here yet," Mateo indicated, looking at the door and noticing a familiar blonde before he quickly dipped out of frame.

"She knows I'm with you, remember?" Lorena laughed, sitting up and crossing her arms to her chest. "To be honest with you, I think it'll be okay if I tell my grandmother."

Everyone around her froze, Benji quickly widening his eyes at her and shaking his head. "No, come on. You know better. The Queen will freak."

"What's the big deal anyway?" Rydel snorted, sitting down as she ate a spoon full of chocolate covered strawberries that she specifically ordered from the kitchen, and that her brother brought up for her. "It's just music."

"I don't know...." Lorena replied, sighing as she thought of this.

Rocky lifted his eyes up from the guitar, brushing his brown hair to the back of his neck. It was beginning to get a little bit longer, but the princess thought this was a good luck for him. "What? Does your family have something against music? Like that Disney movie.... what's it called?"

Rydel's eyes lit up as she exclaimed, "Coco!"

Everyone began laughing at this as Lorena shook her head no at his question. "No, silly. They just think it's unprofessional for a princess, you know? There are certain rules and certain expectations set in place. I don't think any of this really has to do with my family."

"Well, aren't you going to be queen someday? Can't you change those strict rules and expectations?" Riker asked, looking down at his mic and adjusting it onto the hem of his t-shirt.

A huff of breath escaped from Lorena's nostrils. "Your brother asked me that before. I told him I couldn't. Besides, I don't really like to think too far ahead like that. This country still has to go through my grandma and then my father before I'm up."

The Lynch siblings huddled around the piano, all putting their fingers onto it as they started to create a little tune together. Within the next few seconds they had invented a small little jingle, making all of their pink lips turn up at the corners of their faces as they engaged in a heartfelt laugh.

Rydel sighed, looking down at the piano. "Gosh, it's not the same without Ross."

"No matter how long we practice without him, it's still just as sad," Rocky added on, slumping down onto his seat. "I wish he would just give it another try, you know? I've been hearing him sing in the shower lately."
