Chapter Ten

Weekend has came.
Bright and Win weren't able to talk often in the past few days
"Do you have to leave again?" Win asked Jennie
They were having dinner in a restaurant
Jennie answered, "Sadly, but yes, Winnie, I have a flight on Monday to Paris."
"It's okay. I understand." Win said with a small smile
Jennie smiled back, "Thank you." and they continued on eating

After paying the bills, they stood up and ready to leave when Jennie bumped
into someone.
It was Tay
"Tay." Win slightly widened his eyes
"Hey, Win, Jennie." Tay waved at them with a smile
Jennie asked him, "Hi, what are you doing here?"
"Business meeting." Tay said while pointing at their table
Win immediately looked at their table and saw Off and Mew
"Where's Bright?" Jennie asked that caused Win to look at Tay
Tay gave Win a quick glance before answering, "He's still in the restroom
— never mind, he's here." then Bright reached them
Win simply swallowed the lump in his throat
"Hello, Bright." Jennie smiled and waved at him
Bright smiled back, "Jennie."
"Win." Bright greeted Win
Win just gave him a nod with a small smile
Bright said, "We should head back to our table now. Nice bumping into
the two of you."
Tay added,"And oh, our studio's eighth anniversary is on Saturday. Hope the two
of you can come."
Win asked, "Our? You're a co-owner now?"
"The three of us are and that's why we're with a lawyer tonight to make that legally happen." Tay answered with a smile
"That's great." Win said with a smile as well
Tay uttered, "Thank you."
Jennie butted in, "And on Saturday, we'll be there."

Bright and Tay went back to their table
Tay whispered to Bright, "How come you didn't know that they're also here?"
Bright shrugged,"Haven't talked to Win these past few days."
Tay simply sighed at that

Win came home after dropping Jennie off at her condo unit.
He dialed Bright's number as soon as he entered his place
But Bright wouldn't answer it

I know you're mad at me.

We'll be together again in two days. Wait for me, please.  

Win sent that to Bright.

Monday night has came and Jennie just left.
After dropping Jennie off at the airport, he decided to head straight to Bright's studio
Win entered the studio
Off approached him, "Win."
Win asked him, "Hi, is Bright here?"
Win smiled and waved at Mew, Tay, and the other staffs
"Oh, boss B left an hour ago. He looked really tired that's why we forced him to go home." Off's answer
Win asked him, "Could you tell me his address?"
Off responded, "Sure, sure, and his unit's passcode is 0407."
"That's the day —"
Off cut Win off, "Yes, we know. That's the day you first met each other."
Win uttered, "Thank you, Off."
"Anytime." Off patted Win's shoulder

Win arrived in front of Bright's unit.
He typed the passcode in and the door opened
The light in the living room was not switched on, even in the kitchen
Win slowly opened the door of what he guessed where Bright's room is
The lamp on the nightstand was the only light on
He saw Bright is peacefully sleeping
He carefully closed the door when he got inside and slowly laid down beside Bright
He put himself under the same comforter as Bright then hugged Bright from behind
He felt Bright froze
Win whispered, "Baby."
Win whispered again, "I'm really sorry."
He kept on whispering, "I missed you so bad."
Bright asked him, "What are you doing here?"
Bright added, "Oh, I guess Jennie left the country?"
Win snuggled closer to Bright
He pouted, "Bright."
Bright spoke, "I know, I agreed for us to be in this kind of set-up, but sometimes, I just couldn't help but to feel hurt whenever you're gonna set me aside because Jennie is with you."
Win uttered, "I'm truly sorry."
Then he added, "I felt so down in the past few days because you were not talking to me."
"Did you change your mind about me? Don't you want this anymore?" Win's two questions and he has a teary eyes now
Bright sighed as he faced Win
Bright said, "What are you saying? I wouldn't agree to this if I just want to be with you for a short period of time."
"Yeah, I may feel sad sometimes but I'll be fine as long as I know that I got you." Bright added that caused Win to smile
Win said, "You got me always, I won't go anywhere."
Bright smiled back, "Stay the night?" Bright asks
Win nodded,"Gladly." and they slept while hugging each other

Win had to leave early that's why Bright woke up alone in his bed
Bright let out a heavy deep breath, getting his phone from the nightstand

Good morning! I hate that I had to leave early. Don't be mad at me, please?

I'll make it up to you. See you!

Bright couldn't stop himself from smiling.

Bright let out a heavy deep breath as he laid back on his swivel chair
"Stressed?" Win asked as he closed Bright's door
Bright's face immediately lightened up and he approached Win
He asked,"Hi, what are you doing here?" then he hugged Win
Win answered, "I told you I'll make it up to you, didn't I?" and they pulled away
"I just didn't expect that you'll make it up to me today." Bright said, still his hands were wrapped around Win's waist
Win said, "I brought you an iced cappuccino with a slice of blueberry cheesecake." pointing at the paper bag of Starbucks on the coffee table using his lips
Bright smiled and when Win faced him again, he quickly gave Win a peck on the lips
"Bright!" Win hissed at him, Bright chuckled at him
Bright uttered, "Thank you, beautiful." and he saw how Win blushed while looking away
"Come on, eat now." Win said, holding Bright's hand and leaded him to the sofa
They sit beside each other
Win put out the blueberry cheesecake and ice cappuccino from its paper bag
Then Win put the spoonful of blueberry cheesecake in front of Bright's mouth
"Hey, I can do that." Bright was about to get the spoon from Win's hand but Win moved his hand away
"No, let me feed you." Win slightly shook his head
Bright just shook his head in amusement before eating it
Win asked him, "Are you free on Sunday?"
"I think so, why, babe?" Bright asked back
"I was thinking about going to Maldives with you." Win responded that caused Bright to immediately look at him
Win added, "I mean, if you only want to." Win added
"Of course, babe, I would love to but ..." Bright trailed off and Win already knew what he was gonna say
Win spoke again, "Don't worry, baby, I got it all figured out. Your answer is the last one I need for it all to happen."
Bright said, "Then you have my answer." that caused Win to smile and hug him
Bright let out a small laugh as he hugged him back
Win said, "I'll tell Love to book the reservation for us." and they pulled away
Bright nodded while still smiling and kissed Win's cheek

Win came back in his store.
"Hey, Love." Win stood up in front of her table
Love gave her a bored look
"I'm still your boss so, don't give me that look." Win said, flicking Love's forehead
Love touched her forehead, "Ouch."
Win said, "Find an exclusive resort in Maldives. You know my taste." and Love nodded at him while writing it down
Win added, "Then book a reservation under my name on Sunday till Tuesday." Win added
"And you're going with?" Love looked at him
"None of your business." Win flicked her forehead again before going to his office
Love whined, "Damn you, Winnie the pooh!" that caused Win to laugh while entering his office
