Chapter 30

Chapter Thirty

Win entered his store and immediately greeted by a squealing Love.
He rolled his eyes, "Geez, Love, you're too noisy."
Love asked, "Is being pregnant really making you irritated easily?" and she stood in front of Win
Win sighed, "Ugh, I don't know."
"Welcome back, Winnie!" Love hugged him
Win hugged her back, "Thank you."
He asked her, "Where's the food that I requested you to buy?" and they pulled away
Love responded, "Safe and sound on your coffee table."
The two of them entered Win's office and Win immediately saw his chocolates and peanut butter on the coffee table
"Is it really that delicious?" Love asked while looking at Win already devouring the chocolate and peanut butter
"Try it!" Win said while handing her a chocolate
Love hesitated at first before getting the chocolate from Win's hand and dipped it in the peanut butter
Win immediately asked, "How is it?"
"It's not that bad." Love answered while nodding
Win mumbled, "I know, right? They all hated it."

AFTER A YEAR

Win and Bright welcomed their twins.
A girl who they named as Leela and a boy who they named as Leanne
They moved to a two-story house before welcoming their twins

And the twins would turn one year old on Saturday
It was just Monday, but still, Bright and Win together with their friends, they were already preparing for the big birthday party
Win whispered, "Sleep well, my loves." as he gently tucked the twins under their comforter
The twins were sleeping on Win and Bright's bed because they seemed to sleep more comfortable on their bed
Win made sure first that there were pillows surrounding the twins so, they wouldn't fall off from the bed before silently leaving their room
Bright approached him, "Are they sleep already?"
Win nodded at him, "Hmm."
Then he said, "I'll go now, hubby."
"Take care, alright? Call me if something happens." Bright said, wrapping his arms around Win's waist.
Win smiled, "It will be fine, I assure you. But okay, I'll call you after." and he gave Bright's lips a quick peck
Bright uttered, "Drive safely."

Win arrived in the restaurant where he would meet Jennie.
Yes, he was meeting up with Jennie
After a week of Bright and Win's wedding, Jennie flew off to Paris and that explained why they didn't hear from her again
As soon as Jennie got back, she called Win and asked if they could meet up and obviously, Win agreed
Win entered the restaurant and the staff standing by the door greeted him
"I'm here with Ms. Jennie Kim." Win said to the staff
"This way, sir." the staff said before leading the way
They were approaching a table in the middle with a woman's back facing them
"Thank you." Win said to the staff
Then he faced Jennie, "Jennie."
Jennie immediately looked at him and her whole face lightened up as she stood up
and hugged Win
"Winnie!" Jennie excitedly said while hugging Win
Win slowly hugged her back
Jennie uttered, "Oh, I'm sorry." and she pulled away
Win smiled at her, "It's fine."
Jennie said, "Let's sit."
Win nodded as he sit across from her
She asked Win, "Shall we order first?"
Win smiled, "Yeah, sure."

After ordering, Jennie started up a conversation.
She let out a heavy deep breath, "I know this is way long overdue, but I am really sorry about what happened a year ago, Win. I was just blinded by love and selfishness that I never thought about what you really wanted."
She added, "After our supposed to be wedding, that night, I had a time to think about what I've been doing and it made me realize the mistakes that I've done just to keep you being mine. I reflected on it and I was too embarrassed that's why I left without a word."
Then she smiled, "I heard you got a twins. I am happy for Bright and you, really."
Win smiled back, "Thank you, Jennie."
"And between the two of us, I'm the one who truly owes you an apology. I'm sorry for everything, Jen. It was really unfair of me to do that to you. How can I make it up to you?" Win asked, showing a sincere expression
Jennie shook her head, "Hey, no, let it all be in the past, please."
Win said, "I hope you already found your own true happiness."
Jennie snickered, "Oh, please."
Win smiled, "And now, I am more than glad that things between us are now cleared and settled."
Jennie smiled as well, "Me too, Winnie." and after a a little bit more of talks, their foods arrived
And Win didn't forget to invite Jennie to the twins' birthday party which Jennie happily accepted
