Chapter Twenty Two

Jennie entered Win's store and Love immediately approached her.
Jennie smiled at her, "Hi, Love."
Love asked her, "Oh, hey, you just got back?"
Jennie asked, "Yes, is Win in his office?" and that caused Love to simply swallow the lump in her throat
Love answered, "Uhm, didn't he tell you that he's gonna be away for 2 days? He got a seminar to attend to."
"That explains why I couldn't call him. He must've switched off his phone so, he can focus. Thank you, Love." Jennie smiled at her then she left

The night came and Rosé was waiting for Jennie at the lobby.
"Jen!" Rosé excitedly approached her
Jennie smiled, "Hi." and the two of them hugged
She asked Rosé, "Who are you here with?" and they pulled away from each other
Rosé answered,"I'm with some of our college friends. Let's go meet them."
Then they left the lobby
Bright and Win were currently sitting on a pool lounge chair while drinking some juice
Bright asked, "What time do you wanna go back?" as he caressed Win's cheek
Win smiled by that move of Bright
He responded, "Let's stay 20 minutes more." and Bright nodded at that

On the other hand, Rosé and Jennie reached their college friends just a few walks away from where Bright and Win were
Rosé simply smiled when he saw the two acting lovey-dovey to each other
One of their college friends asked, "Hey, Jennie, are you and Win still together?"
Jennie confidently answered, "Yes."
Rosé reacted, "Oh." then she asked Jennie, "How long have you been guys together?"
"Three years." Jennie answered with her genuine smile
One of their college friends asked,"Do you think he's the one for you?"
Jennie answered, "Yes." she didn't even hesitate
Rosé asked, "Well, do you think a time will come that he'll cheat on you?" that caused Jennie to look at her
She shrugged, "Just asking."
Jennie said, "No, 'cause I know that he would never do that to me."
Rosé nodded then she stood up, "Hey, Jen, let's go get some drinks."
Jennie nodded at her
Rosé nervously said, "Jen, I feel like you deserve to know about this."
Jennie asked her, "What is it?"
Rosé uttered, "Win is here."
Jennie's eyes lightened up, "Really?" she was obviously happy by that
She added, "Love told me that Win got a seminar to attend to so, he must be attending the seminar here."
Rosé said, "He's with a man named Bright." and that confused Jennie
Jennie asked, "Bright?" and Rosé nodded at her
"And why would he be with Bright?" Jennie asked with so much confusion
Rosé said, "I bumped into them yesterday and Win introduced Bright to me as his boyfriend." and that caused Jennie to widen her eyes
"What?" Jennie asked merely a whisper as her eyes became teary
"Where are they?" Jennie said trying to remain calm
Rosé looked at the direction where Bright and Win were and Jennie looked there as well
Bright stood up, "I'll go get us our last juice."
Win nodded with a smile
Bright bent down and gave Win a peck on his lips first before leaving
Win's smile became bigger
Rosé and Jennie witnessed that
Jennie whispered, "Oh my God." her voice and hands were both shaking
"I'm so sorry, Jen, if you have to find it out like this." Rosé said while caressing Jennie's back
Jennie quickly wiped all her tears and let out a heavy deep breath
Jennie mumbled, "I'll go to him." and before Rosé could even stop her, Jennie was already on her way to Win
Jennie stood behind Win and she put up a smile before speaking
She said, "Winnie."  and she saw how Win froze, he slowly faced Jennie with a shocked expression
Win quickly stood up, "Jen." then he asked, "What are you doing here? Since when you got back?"
"I just arrived this morning and Rosé asked me to meet her here." Jennie' answer
'That's why I never trust that woman.'  Win thought
Jennie asked him, "Are you heading back tonight?"
Win nodded, "Yes." and he simply looked for Bright
Bright was still busy getting their juice, completely unaware about what was happening
Jennie said, "Me too. Can we just go back together?"
Win smiled, "Sure." and he simply swallowed the lump in his throat
Jennie asked him, "Let's go now?"
Win answered, "Alright, I'll just get my things in the beach house where I'm staying at."
Jennie said, "I'll go with you." and Win just nodded at her
Win simply looked at Bright who was talking to the bartender
