PROLOGUE

Prologue

"Win?" Love, who is Win's secretary and also his friend, knocks at his office's door.
"Come in." Win says
"I just need you to sign this." Love says and hands Win the paper
"It's the confirmation of the venue for your show next week." Love says
Win nodded and signed it
"Thanks, Love." Win goes back on what he's doing
He needs to finalize all his designs today because he will show it all in his event next week

"Bro, do we have an appointment next Saturday?" Tay asks Mew
"None, why?" Mew asks back
"New called me. He wants us to cover his friend's event." Tay responds
"What kind of event is that?" Off asks
"A fashion show." Tay answers and Off nods
"What did Bright say?" Mew asks
"Haven't told him yet but since we don't have any other schedule that day,  I'm sure he'll agree." Tay says
Off and Mew nodded

"Win, where are you?" Gun asks through the phone call
"I'm here in the Starbucks across my boutique." Win answers
Win stands by the counter and waits for his order
"After getting your iced mocha, be here in your office immediately. We're already here." Gun says
"Okay, got it." Win says and ends the call
Then he sees his order and as soon as he holds it, another hand holds it as well
"Excuse me?" Win says and looks at the man.

Damn, what a view.

Win couldn't help but to think.
"I think, this is mine." Bright calmly says
"I'm sorry? I ordered first." Win says, still holding the cup, firmly
Bright was about to speak again but the server in the counter cuts him off
"Sir. Win?" The server says
"I'm here." Win slightly raises his hand
"Here's your iced mocha with almond milk." The server says
"Oopsie." Win mutters and smiles at Bright before looking at the server and takes the coffee
"Turns out, it's really yours." Win said and held his coffee up then turned his back on Bright

Damn it, Win, you just embarrassed yourself in front of an attractive guy.

Win thought and he was about to open the glass door but Bright opened it first
"Next time, make sure that it's really yours. You just can't go around claiming orders." Bright says with a small smirk then gets out of the coffee shop
Win follows him
"That was just a one time thing!" Win says
"Well, I didn't say that it wasn't." Bright says back, he's still smirking.
Win groans
"See you around, beautiful." Bright winks at him before entering his car
Win just stood there dumbfounded

"What took you so long?" Gulf asks as soon as Win enters his office
"Just had a stressful encounter with a stranger." Win sighs and plops down beside Newwie on the sofa
"I already talked to Tay." Newwie says
"They will all go here in your office the day before your event." He adds
"Are you sure they are the best?" Win asks
"The best of the best. I assure you." Gun nodded
"You're just saying that because your crush is there." Gulf teases Gun
"Like I'm the only one." Gun teases him back and Gulf immediately shuts his mouth
Win and Newwie shakes their heads in amusement
"Will Jennie make it in your event?" Gun asks
"When is she gonna come home anyway?" Newwie asks as well
"The morning of the day of my event so yeah, she'll make it." Win's response.
His friends nodded
