ch-12 identity discovery /field trip-2

PETER POV

I woke up at 5 because of a nightmare. I tried going back to sleep, but every time I would close my eyes, I would dream of everything that has happened. Sometimes it was Ben, sometimes it was May, or the vulture. Since I couldn't sleep I decided to go help some Interns. There was a science fair in 3 days, where the best 3 projects would be funded by my dad, so all the interns were living in the tower, based on their looks, they looked as if they hadn't slept in days. Some were even asleep on their desk.

I went looking for Michaela. She was drinking her coffee looking over some blueprints

"Hey Michaela" I saluted her

" Oh my god Peter, Hi, how are you feeling. Don't worry about 'your bathroom brakes', MJ told me about it already" She greeted inspecting me looking for any possible injuries. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you guys that her brother and her already knew about my alter ego

" Hey, I'm totally fine. I was just bored, and since I couldn't sleep I though I would give you guys a hand, and you seemed to be on a dead-end" I said while glancing over the incomplete equations and the blueprints

" Yeah, its just we are trying to develop a stark phone, but without using so much gold and silver.  We have been 3 weeks investigating, and we thought that Lantatium would be perfect, as it is cheap, and isn't on the edge of extinction, however it just overpowers the battery, It can gather so much energy, that the battery would be alive for a week, but it overheats and makes the inner core of the phone melt within the 48 hours of use" She explained while biting her nails

I glanced over the blueprints and got an idea. I started writing equations and taking notes. She knew I was onto something, but decided to not disturb . It is known around the offices, that when someone is busy working onto something, not to deconcentrate that person

About half an hour later, I finished. I was right "Got it" I yelled so that she could hear me from the other side of the room." If you take away the palladium, gold, silver and mercury, make the battery 3 mm thinner and add 4 more copper conductors, that would redirect the energy throughout the phone. You would have to use a 2 cg square of Lantanium, and it would be perfect. You would save the 3mm of the battery, and you would save the gold, silver , mercury and palladium. Although, we would use more copper, so we need to investigate and use another material other than copper, as it isn't a material that there is a lot of"

She had taken notes throughout the explanation

" You're right, I mean the energy would distribute perfectly, It would last up to 24 hours of use without rest, and would be in perfect shape. The battery would be much cheaper, and we wouldn't need any wind refreshing conducting wires to air the battery" She concluded amazed " You're a genius, you know that? this is too big, and I can't let it go, Could you cover up for my field trip turn? Please? This could be world saving technology"

" Suuuuureeee, I will, but I'm gonna change the schedule, from 12 to 3, I'm taking them to the gym, I have a session with Auntie Nat. Also, if this gets you to moms office, the idea was completely yours" I wink at her

" Really, you would do that for meeee?" she asked excited "anything for my big sis" I said while she picked me up and started swinging me excitedly "do you need a change by the way?" she asked

I blushed furiously "I don't know, I cant tell when I'm going" I said embarrassed of myself. She put my pants down, because we were in her private office, no one could see us. The drawings were completely faded. I understood I was wet

"Hey, get going with your project, Ill tell dad to change me. Now hurry up before someone beats you to it" I told her

She kissed my forehead and said " The trip starts in 25 mins, love you" and left the room with all the information of the project
