i took a bit into the pizza we'd ordered not too long ago. we split the pizza in half for our toppings,i had pepperoni on his side and charlie had all sorts of things on it. pineapple, ham and chicken. it amazed me how he indulged all of that pizza.

such weird toppings.

we sat next to eachother on the couch, i watched twilight, of course the movie was cute, but it made me cringe at some point. so we started off with that. i was spaced out for most of it, the snow was taking all my attention away from the tv. charlie was the type of person not to focus on the movie, he'd commentate on it, make funny yet snide comments.

"mia" my head snaps towards charlie.

"huh what" i say confused.

"are you okay?" he grabbed the remote and paused the film.

"you haven't said anything and you've barely eaten."he looks at me concernedly. it was nice that he cared.

"yeah"i lied, i opened the pizza box, taking a slice of pizza and chewing it infront of him. he picked up the remote and resumed the movie. i tried to chew as slowly as i could so charlie would think i've been eating loads. maybe he wasn't watching me, he seemed very invested in the movie.

"well i'm full" i say as i place my hand on the pizza box. charlie placed his hand on top of mine.

"tell me what's on your mind ." he asked me with sympathetic eyes made me feel like i could open up to him.

"charlie, you have enough going on." i explained as he moved closer to me, bring our hands together. it went silent, he let go of my hand. i felt this sense of loneliness when he did that.

"did i do something wrong?" his voice cracked, i looked over at him and immediately gave his reassurance.

"no, charlie" i held his hand, making sure that it wasn't him. that's the last thing i wanted.  his eyes gradually came in line with mine.

"talk to me." he offered me his care. i sighed and pointed at the window. he's gonna think it's stupid.

"it beautiful." i pointed up towards the door that led the way to our back garden. i stood up and walked over to the door, pressing my hand up against it. my hand felt cold.

"what is?" he stood next to me.

"the snow." i admired it as it slowly hit parts of my window.

"i thought you were talking about me." i turned over and he winked and me, i pushed him away playfully.

"yeah right." i scoffed.

"i was kidding, ouch." he put his hand on his heart. i rolled my eyes and faced back to the window, crossing my arms and returning back to the initial conversation.

"if it's so beautiful, why do you look so worried?" he confessed and i turned around, facing away from the snow. he placed his on my waist, it's like he was giving me a side hug.

if he was trying to make me fall for him, it was working.

"you know how my family went camping..." he nodded and he trying to get me to look at him. i failed miserably and looked into his hazel eyes.
