Gulf's POV

After going public, we got surrounded everyday by many people asking us our relationship, even his parents accepted our relationship and told us to take care of each other and to be happy, I was so relieved to see that nothing went wrong, I was dead worried when Mew decided to announce our relationship to everyone, I don't want anything to happen to him because of my greedy feelings

Our secret meetings returned and Mew would enjoy teasing me making me so embarrassed, I really can't keep calm around him and end up feeling shy wanting to hide my red face away, but lately I noticed that Mew would leave to somewhere early in the morning with Leo and Jay and come back by evening, I tried to ask him but he kept avoiding my questions which made me more confused since he promised he won't hide anything from me but as long as he is fine and happy it's doesn't matter

Finally by the end of the week, he decided to spend some time with me, I was impatient to enjoy some private time with him but I got surprised when he suddenly started packing some of my clothes and few other things, then he dragged me outside and made me ride a horse with him

"Mew, where are we going?" I asked but he smiled

"it's a surprise" he simply said focusing on the road, about two hours later we arrived to some astonishing place, of course Fang and Finn were with us, I walked around watching the beautiful decorated place, it was like a vacation on floored big villa in the middle of the forest, with a clear small lake near the house, there was also a swing bank by the side that was recently made surrounded by multicolored roses, the inside of the house was simple yet perfect for a couple

"This place is so beautiful and breathtaking"

"this is my surprise for you, I want to spent a couple of days alone with you far away from anyone else so I asked Leo and Jay to help me decorate this place just for us, I also finished all my work before coming here"

"so we will stay here for two days? Alone?"

"yes, in the manga I read, the couple always goes on dates but we can't do it here on the island so I hope this will make you as happy as being on a date" I smiled widely

"I'm so delighted and contented right now, just spending some time alone with you is enough for me, you didn't have to prepare all this for me"

"but I want to spend even more time with you far away from anyone, besides, you deserve more than this Gulf"

"thank you Mew"

"come on let's put our things away and swim for awhile"

"I'd love to" we spend half of the day by the lake swimming and eating there while talking about all random things, I enjoyed every second with Mew, we cooked together and laughed together as if we were a normal couple living together and it felt so great to be alone like this with him, just being this close makes me fall for him deeper and deeper wishing to be with him like this forever

We sat on the swing bank by night admiring the starry sky while drinking a little the place was illuminated by candles that let out different sweet smells mixing with the forest scent, we were holding hands both feeling cozy and so laid back, Fang and Finn were already sleeping inside their own house that Mew already prepared

"I'm so happy right now Mew"

"I'm glad to hear that"

"no one has ever done smth like this for me, not even on my birthdays"

"I'm sorry I can't do more since this is an island but I promise I will celebrate your birthday every year from now on"

"you don't have to, just being by your side is enough for me"
