[So how are you, dear?] Mom said over the phone.

"I'm doing fine, Mom. Don't worry about me. How 'bout you?" I asked as I watched the sun rising up.

I was still sleeping when her phone calls woke me up.

[Me? HAHA I'm fine.]

"Okay. So... where are you staying right now? So that I could visit you, Mom."

Ever since she left Theo's house. She never told me anything about her where abouts.

The feeling of being left behind. It's crepting me. I clenched my fist.

[Oh no dear! I'm fine. It's better if you stay with Theo.]

But why? Are you tired of me and you're now giving me away?

"But I want to see you. After all you're my Mom."

[But... dear. It's better if you stay in one place. I can't afford to see you in--- I mean I can't give you time since I'm busy.] She said and let an awkward laugh.

Mom are you hiding something?

[Okay, dear. Gotta go now! Take care! I love you!] She didn't bother to let me talk. She immediately hang up the phone as if she's avoiding me.

Are you mom?

Napabuntong hininga ako. Hindi malaman kung ano ba dapat ang mararamdaman. I miss my mom. And I don't want to leave Theo alone.

I closed my eyes. Trying to get a sleep, maybe in that way I could escape this stressful life.

THEO'S POV

"I know. I will. Yes. Yes. Yes. Okay. Bye." And she hangs up.

I stared at her name on my phone screen. I can't do anything but  to clenched my jaw.

I'm not mad at her. Why would I? I'm mad at that court! How could they can't give my baby's justice she deserve!? There's a lot more evidence infront! How could they ask for more? Isn't those enough? Damn!

"Don't stress yourself too much." Napatingin ako sa kapatid kong hindi man lang marunong kumatok.

I raised a brow as I watch him walking towards me.

"Am I that handsome that you can't take your eyes of my face?"

I rolled my eyes. His dreams in life are so high, I can't reach it.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him boredly without lookinh at him.

"Bawal na bang bumisita sa batang kapatid!?" He said while holding his chest, acting like he's hurt.

I felt my brows furrowed as I look at him.

He's so OA!

"Tss."

"Grabe ka! Wag mo 'kong ma t-tss tss d'yan!"

"What's with you!? Is that the effect of Fiona---" I was not able to finsihed what I'm going to say because this idiot here covered my goddamn mouth!

I pushed him hardly making him sit the floor.

"ANO BA!?" I shouted, furiously.

"Ang ingay ng bunga-nga mo!"

"SO!?"

"Alam mo bang may pakpak ang balita!"

I rolled my eyes. Naiinis na ako sa kanya. Buti nalang kapatid ko siya, baka na suntok ko na.
